Gall Bladder Mystery

I had a stool bleed 2020 followed by occasional upset stools (yellow, pale) over ensuing months. Had two scans of organs. No apparent growths etc just expected benign anomalies in the gall bladder. Had jaundice once but did not last long. Thing is I still get light brown stools sometimes turning to proper dark brown suggesting some of the time the gall bladder is not delivering bile.

No pains, had blood tests, no enlarged organs. i am 76 so some wear and tear expected I guess.

Only thing I can guess is the gall bladder is stiff and only giving out right amount of bile when it gets too full.

Has anyone similar behaviour?
