Hi,
I have noticed for the past 5 years I have not had a morning erection and recently erections have become weaker during sex and masturbation.
I switched from Sertraline 100mg to Mirtazapine 45mg 3 months ago as I was told Sertraline can cause erection problems and that Mirtazapine would have less effects. My doctor informed me that any antidepressant can cause this to happen. I need to take them daily otherwise I notice depression comes back shortly after I've accidentally missed a dose or two. What can I do?
I have had a bloodtests for testosterone levels and cholesterol. My testosterone is all normal and my cholesterol is a little higher than it should be for my age (5.1) and was just told to eat better and get more exercise.
Why would I be having erection problems in my 30's? I don't know what to do. I do drink often and I smoke but I'm trying yo reduce this significantly to see if this would help.
I have read online that lifestyle changes and more exercise could potentially reverse this problem but I don't know if that would make a difference.
I would be grateful if anyone could please give me any advice on what to do.
Thank you!
