Aspirin and Lansoprasol

If taking low aspirin long term should I take Lansoprasol or eqivalent to avoid stomach ulcers and if so what are the downsides?

Hi. Here is some information on low-dose aspirin nhs.uk/medicines/low-dose-a... A lot of people take it without having to take a proton pump inhibitor.
