Are you also on metformin with your gliclazide?

Yes Metformin and two other tablets
Insulin would have the same effects on you as gliclazide. Perhaps you need to stop gliclazide and try one of the newer diabetes medications such as dapagliflozin. nhs.uk/medicines/dapagliflo... or liraglutide. ncl-mon.nhs.uk/wp-content/u... above all, diet and exercise are so important.

I'm on the other tablets as well just eat porridge in morning salad tuna and pasta in evening go to the gym everyday my weight is 15stone been there for 5years it never goes up or down confuses
A lot of people could not cope with porridge and pasta as it would spike their blood sugars. Portion sizes are also difficult for some. People also find the gliclazide or insulin makes them lay down fat. 15 stone would mean that you would be overweight unless you are very tall. Metformin is a pretty strong tablet to control sugar levels. Apart from that, how effective are your workout patterns? Are you using proper orthotics, for that matter? (for more details: physioactive.ca/our-service... )How is your diet? If you can share a bit more regarding that, we can help. It's not about including artificial insulin into your system. Most of the time, managing them both could work magic for you.
