Kidney surgery

Hi so I have some questions maybe someone has had something similar happen to them or a parent. My mom got her kidney removed and she has had persistent pay since- it has now been up to 3 weeks since surgery and says it hurts her. Idk if it’s bad or because that’s how these surgeries work

She should be discussing this with her doctor.

Has she been for a post-op review? I had one after 2 weeks. There can be many reasons for post-op pain and she really does need to talk to a doctor and possibly have a scan.
