Oedema (swelling) around the head of the penis after circumcision

Hey! I got cut a month ago and I still have a considerable amount of swelling by day 32. Does anyone here has had the same issue? What can I do?

All you can do is wait for it to heal.

Providing it not painful then give it a little more time and avoid any 'knocks'. But do not be afraid to go back to your Doc

It's been over 2 months since I was circumcised and I still have a lot of swelling; I saw the surgeon a few weeks ago and he said it was okay and would be clear within a few weeks but I am resigned to it taking up to 6 months. I think you just need to be patient.

Im on day 15 of recovery and just had my follow up. Everything seems to be healing fine for me. Still some swelling but it is decreased dramatically over the last few days. My doctor said swelling/bumps on average can persist for 3-6 months post op. He also said that if swelling goes on longer or if there is a noticeable issue make sure you consult your doctor right away.
