[CONTAINS PICTURE] Hello. I've done a circumcision before 2 months and in the end of the glans, where foreskin starts, is a swollen ring. I have healed pretty well, all the wounds are closed but this swelling doesn't go away!
My doctor said it's nothing to worry about but i don't feel okay.
Any advice or someone experienced with this?

Dont listen to urologist they are good only to make circumcision pls try to visit sexologist and take the best advice
If there is no pain in the swelling even during erection and it is perfectly dry then it is not at all a problem, rather good the ring will help in gliding in the vagina of your partner and will accelerate the sensations to her.
There's no pain during erection, it's sensitive when being touched though.
I understand this will accelerate the sensations to my sex partner but come on, this is not normal!
It's uncomforable and i feel pain when it's being rubbed against the boxers.
What can you do if your surgeon has not taken care to estimate the length of the skin to be tapered off? Yes it does not look normal, at least I didn't have such after circumcision.Frankly speaking I have not seen anybody else's penis except in porn videos in the internet. You may consult another surgeon who may perhaps chiesel out the swellings and you can have a smooth head like mine. I don't want to put a picture here. Wait and watch. It may not be much of problem, as it seems.
Swollen penis is normal after circumcision, it's due to the op stitches that blocked the blood flow, no worries, it will go away gradually. Mine go away in 3 weeks...some might be longer/shorter, depend on individual.
Hi mate I’ve recently circumcised but I don’t have a ring at the end it looks to me like there’s too much skin been left at the end. I know you can go back and get more skin Removed it’s not a common problem but it does state so many people don’t get enough skin removed
Ah that’s good news then I only had mine done on Sunday I think I’m over the worst of it the the boners don’t hurt as much now 😂 but I had a little infection underneath which sucked so I’m on antibiotics 😂
Get a cold compress on it would and take ibuprofen but 6 weeks on it shouldn’t be swollen still I’ve had mine done just over a week and the swelling has gone
Just have to use a cold compress then pal 👍it may not even be as swollen as you think your surgeons left a lot of skin behind did you have a full circ or half of one ?
Nurse at hospital advised using frozen peas to reduce swelling, I'd make an appointment with Dr's though Stevie, 6 weeks seems a long time, hope you get it sorted
I don't mean to sound hasty but really seems like that surgeon botched your surgery. That's plain malpractice and you should take legal actions and meanwhile have it fixed by someone who knows how to do his job. The way it looks now is more like a retracted foreskin instead of a circumcision. It's been months since you posted this and I hope some improvements have taken place eversince.
I had a swelling issue,. I started using silicone scar sheets to put even pressure all the way around. The swelling goes away after a few hours. I had to do this for several days so the swelling stopped coming back.
The apparent tightness of the highest portion of your foreskin is not allowing the lymphatic fluids to exit all the way out the inner prepuce (swollen underlying foreskin) chambers yet
I have the same problem too. Though it’s only been a week since I had mine done, I’m worried about the swelling. Also I get really horny and even when I get an erection it’s still there. Any help or info is appreciated
Hi All, I know this is an older post. Im 31 and Im 3 weeks in after circumcision. My penis now almost looks similar to the pic KeySign has put up. I noticed a reduction in the size of my erection. Is this normal? How long does it take to go grow back? I am a little worried.
