Has anyone else had circumsisen using glue method rather than stiches??

I dont see alot on glue recovery and i have a few questions if anyone could help me.

Will the wound heal jist the same?

Also i have alot of dreid blood and dont want to make the healing process worse, when would i be able to maybe peel it off? Or would i wait untill it falls of itself in the shower?? Also i feel thay my night time erections are not helping. I see photos of other adults who have been circumsised and after a week it looks ok pretty neat just stitches. Mine looks like a shark has had a go on it and it just loooks ugly lol

Hi

I had the skin glue for my circumcision, it heals the same as stitches.

Keep the area dry for a few days and you can start washing normally, just use a shower no long soaks in the bath otherwise it will cause the skin glue to dissolve faster.

It looks terrible for the first week but Once the swelling and bruising goes away the skin glue will start to dissolve and you will see a big improvement.

One quick question as you seem to be the only person ive met who used the glue method like myself.

I have dried blood around my penis which is understandable, but im taking a shower everyday, without letting the water hit my penis directly. Just allowing it to run down my body. Im now 9 days in and allthough it does look better there is still a significant amount of dried blood. What would u recommend?

You can start exposing it to water in the shower but not for very long and do no scrub the area.

Always let the area dry naturally or lightly pat the with a clean towel.

Over a few days the dried blood will slowly start to go.

The glue itself is an off colour and looks like dried blood but that will go after a few washes.

I found soaking in salt water 3 times a day for a minute or so helps speed up recovery and keeps the area clean.

I will start to soak in salt water. I have read abit about this but wasnt sure if soaking it would affect the glue so i thought ild better not do that. After how long did ur penis begin to look normal? As in swelling gone down and blood gone?

I went private myself.

I used ice on the area 3 times a day to reduce swelling and bruising.

It takes a good 2 weeks for most of the swelling to go down and the stitches/glue to start to dissolve.

You may need the odd stitch removed but it’s pretty good to go after that.

After 1 month it’s pretty much back to normal but it will take 6/12 months for the scar to fade and blend in with the rest of the shaft.

After 2/3 weeks you can carefully masturbate and 4/6 weeks you can have sex with a condom and plenty of lube to reduce friction.

Did you go to the thornhill clinic?

Did you have the frenulum removed?

Ok so im only 10 days in but i dont think theres no way i could masterbate after 2 weeks.. some erections are still abit painfull... feels like the skin is stretching.. no sexual activity is killing me allready!! Lol

Did u have your foreskin cut to just under the head or lower???

I did go to the thornhill clinic. Did you go there too? Was you happy with the job? They must be fairly popular.

Yes i did have the frenulum removed. It was somethkng that wasn't mentioned to me and i was evrn sure untill i checked now because you asked. Is this a bad thing??

Also i only have stiches by the frenulum and 1 underneath. Im guessing 2 or 3 stitches only.

My foreskin was cut about 2cm below the head with the frenulum removed.

I went to the thornhill clinic after reading the reviews and I’m very happy with my result.

Mine was cut pretty much bang on in line with the head

Yeah i did the same the reviews were fantastic.

Yeah im happy so far, ive had no issues and looks like they did a great job.

How long before you think i could lay in a bath??

You was correct most of the dried blood was stuck on the glue which has now pretty much all cleared up. Looks like the doctor done a very neat job. The stich on the flenulum has dissolved and the one just below looks like its about to go, but one stich the doctor opppsite tbe frenulum seems to be intact still.

Still abit swollen but doesnt look as ugly.

The swelling has caused the skin to allmost cover the penis head. Will it look normal when the swelling goes down?

It will go down eventually.

Usually around 2 weeks and it’s pretty much back to normal, it takes about a year for the scar line to fully soften and blend into the shaft.

After that it will look like you were done as an infant.

Just a quick question, im now 18 days in but the 2 stiches on opposite sides to eachother are both intact. Did yours take longer to dissolve or did u get them removed??

I took them out myself.

If they are in there too long you can get stuck tunnels.

Hey how is it .. i had my circumcission done on may 3 at a VA Hosp .. doctor used stitches the glue over the stitches when i took off bandage it looked ugly then the glue fell of while showering a few days layer along with the stitches .. i had no pain whatsoever ..

Yeah prettt much the same. I have 2 stiches left. One is still holding abit of glue down. Im thinking weather to just remove them myself or just to wait longer.

I luckily had no paint except when i had night time erections first week or so.
