Has anyone used the Thornhill Clinic in Luton for Circumcision?

Wondering... I want to get this done ASAP and I want the glue method rather than stitches. However, this is a private clinic and I'm more than a little terrified. Has anyone actually been in this one and had the operation done? Any feedback would be great.

Thanks - yes I have read reviews and all looks very very good but wondered if anyone on here had used them for the operation.

considered it but had it done in Dublin clinic 2014. Best decision I ever made.

Hi

I had my circumcision done at the Thornhill clinic and I haven’t regretted it. The glue gives a really good cosmetic finish and reduces the risk of the unsightly stitch scars.

The clinic is very clean and the staff are very friendly. You will go for the initial consultation before the operations, most likely Dr Khan will show you some before and after pictures and chat about the outcome you expect and the risks etc.

After that you pay the remainder of the balance for the operation then go to the prep room. You get changed into some sexy surgical gown and you will be prepped and have the local anaesthetic applied. It doesn’t hurt but it can make your eyes wince a little.

After about 10 mins you are called into the operating room where you get cleaned and prepped again and obviously circumcised.

I was in the clinic approximately 90 minutes start to finish with literally no pain at all.

It takes around 6 months for the scar to settle down and everything to be back to normal.

I am very pleased with the outcome.

Is yours for cosmetic or medical reasons?

Medical reasons, Jimbo93. Many thanks for your detailed response. Made me feel much better about the whole thing. To be honest, I'm completely terrified to get this done. I've been putting up with sometime excruciating pain just touching the foreskin mainly because I'm scared and embarrassed to have the op done.

I had my circumcision done at the Thornhill Clinic and was very satisfied both by the way the place is organised and the result of the procedure. My only regret was that I had not arranged the operation earlier in my life. I am very happy with the end result.

Thanks for your response. Sounds good to me.

Understood - however this is not being considered for aesthetic reasons but because I have a really painful foreskin which is getting more painful all the time and looking pretty bleak. It's extremely tight and I have had minor tears over the last three or so years - also extremely painful.
