Lump on my shaft after circumcision

I am 21 and had an circumcision 3 month ago , and after swell go I noticed an bad lump / vein on my penile shaft under skin , 2 cm like under the cut . Is not painful but I am worry what could be , also an vein was swollen on left side of penis but it fix 1 month ago . Any advice or someone who have the same situation ? Thanks

I’ve heard of this before it’s quite a common thing in some men after circumcision the lumps do eventually disappear. I think the lumps are damaged tissue from the procedure.

I have the same thing but mine feels like a dropped stitch. Doesn't cause any discomfort so I'm not worrying about it

I have it too, just below my scar line on the top-side of my penis. It prevents me from having full and long erection whilst I was in my 2nd and 3rd weeks of healing. It also creates a tense pain during my erection, because my penis wants to elongate but the raised hump actually prevents my shift skin from riding over it to stretch with the erection

However, I just had an erection similar to what Ive just described, and after about a minute of firm- hardness, my hump had almost subdued itself. When it appeared not to be there anymore, my erection got longer and it was able to pull more and use more of my bunched up inner foreskin.

I am only in Day 25, but I HOPE to see this hump totally gone by Day 45.

I think during the circumcision, when the doctor cauterizes the bleeding spots after severing the inner foreskin from the shaft, the electric-heat from that device injures the shaft. And the inflammed tissue under our shaftskin is a result of that heat injury. I've watched many of those circumcision videos on Youtube. My procedure summary papers also describes my surgeon cauterizing my penis during operation. It is still very sore too; its the only pain I have left. My excision wound and irritating stitches pains are gone now.

Hi Qfellow. I too have what you have described. I am on day 31 and still have a 1cm wide bump under the skin which seems to be shortening my erect length by an inch. How have things developed for you since posting your comment? Has your usual length resumed and the bump disappeared? The surgeon says the bump isnt a build-up of plaque as i initlaly thought, but is indeed stitches which take upto 2 months from the operation date to fully heal, unlike the other stitches which disovled within a few weeks. Interested to know your reply.

Yes, the hump did flatten itself out, and my skin now can drop down to its lowest point on my shaft without any obstructions. Thos became clear around Day 42. So I met my "projection date". Take a look at my latest post!

However, I have an appointnent 6 weeks from now on Sept 28 with a different/and better urologist, because my last surgeon unevenly cut my inner foreskin. And when flaccid, that causes me to have a big bubbly-ring all around my penis under the head. So I want to be re-cut and evened out. I guess I'll have to get stitches all over again for another 6 weeks of healing

Good luck with your forthcoming appointment. Being re-cut seems logical. During your 42 day healing process, how much erect length was lost? I have lost a full inch. Was your bump only noticeable when touching, mine doesn't visibly seem to be restricting full erect length, but it's the only thing i can think of why it has become shorter. Thank you.

When my bump was very prominent, it affected me getting fully erected and maintaining what little erection I did get.

Now my erections are full lengthin memorable comparison to how I was 9 weeks ago uncircumcised. With my tight foreskin being totally unraveled from my glans, it seems to have made allowance for more blood flow; awardingly, I have stronger aggressive erections, and my glans/head appears bigger when I stand in the mirror. Also remember, I have a sufficient amount of shaft-skin, and an over amount of inner foreskin, the frenulum extended, and the bump is gone, so there's nothing to prohibit my explosive elongation of penis. I have masturbated with lubricant jelly like 7 times now in a 2 week period, my penile pumping system is back to normal now. So no, my penis is not any shorter from the original days.

Has anyone noticed a difference in erect length after being circumcised, or after having Frenuloplasty? A hard lump of skin (1cm in width along the top-side of the shaft) seems to be preventing my usual length when erect. Maybe this is just something that happens, or maybe after 2 months it will resume its usual length?

How long ago were you operated on? My doctor said the health of your body determines if and when that fibrous tissue will soften and become elastic. Some people's never ceases from being a hardened nuisance. EAT PLENTY OF RAW GREEN AND ORANGE VEGGIES, and drink plenty of water. Don't engage in sexual activity while its hard (I didn't, I waited). Massage the area under a warm shower.

I am 31 days into this, Jul 16th was my operation date. Im 35, never smoked, never drank excessively, gym 5 times per week. The lump isnt visible unless touched, and i just dont see how it can be stopping me from acheiving full length, but it seems unusual that ive lost a full inch from how it was 32 days ago. We'll see how it goes over the next month. The surgeon said she has never known of erect length to be shortened, but maybe she means once the healing process has ended, rather than shortening during.

Also you haven't even reach 60 nor 45 days yet! Give yourself time, the penis is still in significant shock from having its tissues and nerves damaged. Your body may yet to feel compelled in having a full erection at this time. Check your length quality out @ 50 days post-op👍

Any updates? I have a huge firm lump on my shaft preventing me to get my full erection length. I’m 23 days post op and lost an inch and a half. Penis also curves towards the direction of the lump. The lump seems to be getting smaller, but very very slowly.

Has anyone found an answer to this ? I have pretty much the same thing and In extremely worried .its been 10days since my circumcision and Im only noticing this now .Its around 2cm wide and on the top area of my penis just under the incision site .please let me know .
