Peeing shouldn't really hurt. It might be a bit complicated at first and you will have to get used to peeing sitting down. There can be potentially issues with being able to pee as the swelling in and around the penis might cause it to be more difficult.
Well you would have to be specific, not the most comfortable just like any other operation. You will be walking funny, peeing funny, rubbing your glans on clothing and stuff will be uncomfortable, so the best thing to do is rest for a couple of days and get plenty of sleep to help it heal. For a more specific answer, you will have to ask a more specific question.
You would have to define normal, usually around week 3-4 the penis glans gets used to being exposed so should be able to walk around normally without any sensation issues while wearing clothes. Until then you can use a gauze in your underwear with vaseline on it to greatly reduce the friction which helps a ton. Around 6 weeks you can start masturbating again, but these are guidelines, when everything goes splendid you might be healing faster, but you also might take longer to heal so take these dates with a grain of salt. Taking longer to heal doesn't mean there is something wrong with you. As for the looks I guess you refer to looking like other cut men. That can take months even years to look like someone who has been circumcised at birth as they grew up with it. But it doesn't impede functionality nor does it look bad, it just looks more fresh.
You take care of it by plenty of rest, running warm water or chamomile tea over the glans after every time you pee to keep it clean. Don't take a bath for the first 5 days, after day 2 you can have short showers but not too long as to not make the stitches dissolve faster. Most importantly, keep it clean. When you go back to school or work, use a gauze covered in medical vaseline to put on your penis glans and wear briefs or boxer briefs to limit penis movement.
How much does what hurt? The procedure doesn't hurt at all, as you will be under anaesthesia. You shouldn't have much or any pain after the procedure either but the doc might prescribe you pain medication if you want. The only thing that usually hurts is getting night time erections after the procedure for a while. For that its best to not drink past 6 PM, sleep in either fetal position on the side or with your knees up when sleeping on the back. Have something very unsexy to think about to get those erections that you cannot control down as you will wake up with it hurting and that is because the stitches will try keeping it together while the skin stretches when getting erect. Other than this, there shouldn't be much or any pain.
Buy chamomile tea to soak the wound in for 3 minutes twice a day, buy gauzes and medical vaseline to make it easier for you to resume normal function.
Hey there! First of all, it is not as bad as you may think. To be safe, follow your doctor’s instructions, not the instructions of random strangers. I was circumcised when I was 33. I was very nervous, but once it was over I felt a bit silly being so worked up. It really was not as bad as dental visits I’ve had. My bandage was left in for 14 days and I was to not get the bandage wet at all. Peeing was fine, I stood to pee throughout the healing. Bandage started at the back of the head, leaving the head stick out free, so peeing was not an issue. Does not hurt to pee. They aren’t doing anything to the inside, so no issues there. I wore bixer briefs with the penis upward to help avoid swelling. I had absolutely no trouble walking. I don’t understand how anyone would. I walked about 2 miles the day i was circumcised with no problem. At about 4 weeks, things should look pretty good. The scar will still be a bit prominent. After about 6 months, it will look like you were cut at birth.
Do you know what method the doctor will be using? What style are you desiring?
Thanks!! i'm getting nervous though hahah. I don't know what method or what style maybe its different in the netherlands (where i live) cause they didn't tell me.. are there different styles? whats the best style?
Nah I think you should be fine the only time you should feel pain is when you wake up,or move around a lot. When you remove the bandage it’s going to feel weird because your exposed to air your penis never did that because it’s been closed up. I recommend you removed the badges in salt water to make it moist and wet. DONT LET THE STITCHES get dry you can use ointment that give you or you can pick some up at your local cvs or Walmart.
I got circumcised the 15th of march aka last month and can tell you what I can give as tips. When getting circumcised, the operation wont hurt but I would definitely advise to get a family member/friend to drive you, since what happened to me was that I hadnt eaten when I woke up(operation was at 10 AM) and ended up nearly fainting because I was arguing over the phone and got too high blood pressure. I started feeling very dizzy and rushed back and got something to drink and laid down for half an hour before I got picked up. So eat up before the procedure(unless asked otherwise) and keep your stress/energy usage levels low. At least for the first day or two. I was able to talk like a penguin after two days and normally after 9 days.
As for the healing process, the first three to four days can be moderately painful at times but as long as it doesn't bleed the whole time(which I never have heard happen), it shouldn't be anything to worry about.
Generally prepare yourself to lay mostly in bed for around 3-4 days to a week after the operation. Everything will be fine.
