Well it's exactly a week since surgery and it's been one hell of a week quite literally and figuratively! Day 1-3 were absolutely awful. Since then things have got better. Swelling has gone down a lot. I'm very happy with how it looks apart from the frenulum but I've heard that takes the longest to heal so I'm not completely concerned at the moment!
The big huge issue which is causing me real discomfort and frankly sending me insane is the in ability to wear boxers or any clothing which single handedly means I can't do anything normal which is due to the sensitivity of the head which is not improving one bit.
I really can't put up with it much longer. Hopefully week 2 sees a distinct improvement in that department as I can't deal with this much longer.

My advice is to buy some tight underwear, the brief type and not shorts. It keeps things still, stops friction and makes life much easier. I'm still sensitive 4 months later unfortunately so I'm still in briefs not shorts. It gets better quickly but that sensitivity.....I think it's here for a while.
Yup, definitely tight pants to keep things still. Use a padded dressing if needed, but when at home I would wear a soft loose fitting dressing gown. Do remember to take painkillers if needed.
I agree, leave the head exposed without Vaseline but keep your penis in tight undies. It will prevent it from rubbing against the fabric. After 2-3 weeks the hypersensitivity will be gone.
The first week is always the toughest after that it keeps improving the sensitivity will be manageable after the second week and you will be able to wear clothes without it bothering you and the frenulum takes 4/5 weeks to heal but try not to knock it or soak it as the frenulum scab will drop off and start bleeding
