Post vasectomy epididymitis and intercourse

Hi all,

I have been diagnosed with what they believe is epididymitis 10 days post vasectomy. Also being given antibiotics in case it is a post surgical infection. The right testicle is swollen to about three times its size. Told to go back if it doesn't improve in a few days.

My painkiller regime is handling the pain very well.

My real question is whether I'm ok to engage in sex and/or oral sex (receiving)? I gather there are issues around STI's but that's not what this is. It's about sperm collecting in the epididymis and not clearing/being reabsorbed.
