I'm 19 and diagnosed myself online that I have phimosis. I am very worried and don't know who to consult next. Do GPs deal with this sort of stuff?

Maybe a trip to your dr, no one should self diagnose it can and could be very dangerous.

Hi Philip, thanks for your input. It's just that I'm very embarrassed about it and I feel weird showing my penis to my GP. No one knows about my issue, and I'm embarrassed to tell my parents about it.
You must put your fear aside and hope the doctor isn't a beautiful dream, lol, you have to go there's no other way to stop you worrying.

Hi Philip, I'm now circumcised! Looking back from the first step I made calling for an appointment with a GP (who happened to be female btw, and she was a stunner!), and telling my family, and being on the waiting list for over 6 months for an appointment with a urologist, and then more waiting time before my surgery, it was a journey that I'm proud I've made. The GP confirmed it was phimosis and there were no other options. Thank you for giving me the strength to make the first move! I'm now recovered and back to normal.
Hey am 23 and I have the same problem. I was embarrassed to go to my doctor for about 2 years I put it off. But one day I was in pain so I got an emergency appointment. My gp referred me to a urology surgeon and I have my operation a week today. So it's worth going
