Hi, I am 18 years old and I am unable to pull back my foreskin, after some encouragement I can slowly retract it but it isn't easy and I do try not to force it. The one time I did pull it back (which took a good 20 minutes) I struggled to get it back as it seemed to swell. Any help or suggestions would be grateful. Thanks.

Hi Jay. Firstly you are not alone with this problem. If you scroll back on here me and lots of other guys share their experiences and advice. You seem to realise the importance of being able to retract your foreskin behind your glans. There may be a medical reason why you can't pull back your 4skin so a visit to your GP is always a good idea. If circumcision is required or offered go for it.
Hydrocortisone cream, gentle stretching in the bath with soap, always pull it back to normal position after
Hi jay .
I in the same boat as you. I have this morning i saw my Doctor about having a circumcision because Being over weight I was 20 stone now 16 1/2 st , could not retract my foreskin .Go now book a appointment with you doctor as soon as possible. I have 3 doctors , I can open up to . I am 61 , When I was a baby and growing up , my Mother stood over me when I was in the bath making sure I pulled my foreskin back
only one advice. If you see that your foreskin or your glans swell when you strecht you foreskin back your glans, it can be dangerous. So refer to your doctor for useful information about how to retract your foreskin.
Bye

Like you I could not pull back without discomfort, indeed my first sexual experience without a condom resulted in the foreskin pulling back and taking me several hours to pull back over the head. Little by little with cold water to ease the discomfort, I was whole again !
Further times where easier but still not without problems. I would advise the gentle stretching as described elsewhere. Personally I would only go for the circumcision as a last resort. But Please see a Doc' if it really troubles you. Better safe than sorry.
