Is circumsization needed ?
Your foreskin is probably too tight. The anti-circumcision folks hrere always says you should stretch the foreskin but I did it and my foreskin got cracked. I had lots of pain. I got circumcised at 17 and I'm very glad I did it. It's so awesome being circumcised.
Everyone is different, I regret having a circumcision, but for me there was little choice. If you can pull back enough to clean then do not worry. Try stretching the skin. You are still young so unless it causing you pain, wait and see.
As I have said to others, if you need it, you need it. But, once it is done there is no going back. Do not rush in.
I wish I could have helped you.
Maybe I should have done more research but when I was told there was a possibility of Cancer, however slight, I just went with the advice given. And as I have said previously, from 'diagnosis' to Surgery was about a week. I should have looked into it more when I first had problems.
The risk of cancer is so slim that borders on mythology. It began when it was discovered that Jewish men were not afflicted by it. The reason was actually that they didn’t sleep around as did many men. Therefore, they weren’t exposed to HPV, the main cause of penile cancer. Another cause is smoking. Cancer causing residue from the hands can be transferred to the penis.
You are of great benefit here, and your efforts to help others is a great way to heal.
It was a Locum GP who first thought it could be, he called for a second opinion and they agreed. Then having looked at images of Penile Cancer, yes I would have said so to.
The Urologist thought it was Zoons Balantitis but said treatment would be the same either way and I would still need a Biopsy.
My problem was self inflicted, instead of wasting time worrying before going to the Doc I should have done some proper research and possibly the Zoons may have been treatable in another way. But I am where I am and make the most of it.
What's your problem with being circumcised?
As I have said before, everyone is different. How it affects you and the way it makes you feel. For me I feel that sex is generally the same, a little loss of sensation but that is made up for in other ways. The biggest problem for me is if I lose my erection during sex for whatever reason, then prior to the Op', a quick 'tug' usually had me hard again. Now it is not as easy. It may be me ? But I just think if you have a foreskin you can pull it back, if you haven't, then you can't.
If you need a circumcision, then do not worry go for it. If you do not really need it, think carefully.
Hope this makes sense, it is difficult trying to explain.
What you mean it’s attached to the head? Like stuck together? You can test for an adhesion by pinching the foreskin opening, then start peeing. That should cause the foreskin to balloon. Any place it is stuck will be revealed by not ballooning. I recommend trying that in the shower. If you find an adhesion, get back here and I can recommend how you might fix that. At this point, don’t get overly concerned as it’s not anything serious.
As a male who was circumcised at birth, At 60 I can tell you what is in store for you in the future if you get circumcised at your young age. The foreskin was put there for a specific reason. It is to protect the head of the penis. What happens after the foreskin is removed, is that the body will start to put layers of skin over the penis to protect itself. the skin is very sensitive and has thousands of nerve endings that will be buried under layers of skin until decades later your penis will be totally numb. Your sex life at that point is over for the most part is. The doctors say it's normal, it's just age. They're wrong. It can be reversed, which I am in the process of doing now. The fore skin also has about 20,000 nerve endings which is about half of the nerve ending in the penis and is important to the sexual experience for you and the woman. I'll never get the 20,000 nerve endings back, but it has already gotten better after 6 weeks. I can hit climax for the first time in over a year. Doctors here in the US aren't taught anything about the foreskin and its purpose, only that it should be cut off and thrown away. If you have to have a circumcision, make it the last option, and have the doctor leave as much foreskin as possible, so you can regrow if you choose. It is possible, just takes a long time.
