Phimosis at 15

I'm 15 years of age, and can pull my foreskin back over the glans when erect, even though it does hurt. After it's pulled back it feels stuck behind the head and I can't push it back up and I can't move my foreskin any more past my glans as it hurts to try. Is this normal or do I need medical help?

You can go to your doctor and they will probably give you hydrocortisone 2% cream. This usually works by relaxing the tight band of tissue in the foreskin. It can take a few months to work fully. I had a tight foreskin and it worked for me but you have to persevere. You can also buy hydrocortisone 1% cream at a pharmacy or in most large supermarkets. If you're unsure best to see your doctor. Circumcision is a last resort.

Sometimes you may need the stronger cream such as betnovate

Try with hydrocortisone creams . If it doesn't hurt while retracting frontwards it will not have any problem during intercourse . Rather lubricants will ease movement and partner may get pleasure early as the gliding on labia majora will accelerate orgasm if mentally she is ready . Relax now unless you have problem

It's not normal but it IS a rare condition which afflicts some males. Thankfully, your erection eventually subsides into a flaccid state, leaving your foreskin able to return to its natural position, covering and protecting your glans.

I suffered exactly the same experience as you - paraphimosis. But in my case it was in adulthood, following sexual intercourse with my wife. This was 15 years ago when today's solutions were not the first port of call. I made an appointment with my GP and after examination she referred me to a urologist for circumcision without a second thought. I now live with a crippled penis.

So please take the advice of others who have replied to you.

Hi mate. I had a similar experience. At the time it seemed frightening. Trying to force a tight foreskin back over an erect penis was painful and difficult. I just waited till I went flaccid and let my skin roll back naturally. As my 4skin got looser the problem disappeared just by gently pulling it over my knob end in a warm bath. Take care.
