Im unsure what “style” of circumcision I was given but I do still have some coverage of the glans (anything between 10 -50% exposure when flaccid). Rolling it back is effortless and will no doubt happen naturally with erections (they’ve only happened in the night so far and I tend to go stiff as a board until they go) but I’m concerned about how this will affect recovery time or more specifically - when the hell I can accept this as normal.
Really interested to know if there’s anyone out there who had REALLY built up the sensitivity thing in their head before the cut but has now gotten used to it, and if so - how?? Right now there’s still a mental block in handling it, in willfully exposing the glans fully (which so far I can only do in the bath comfortably) and with it making contact with pretty much anything expect lots of Vaseline.
I’m sure the answer is grin and bear it but I just wonder if anyone has experience on the mental block specifically and how they got over it.
Not expecting much here cos it’s SUPER specific 🤦♂️

Actually for your case, medical reason, it may differ to mine, who got removed foreskin and frenuloctomy voluntarily. I have zero problem with my perfectly normal foreskin yet got removed it for sexual pleasure and aesthetic look(as girls nowadays do loves a bare glans rather with some bunch up skin behind the coronal of a glans). I used to retract my foreskin since I'm like in my teen. This may called as auto- circumcision, as what people term now. I grew in a Muslim major country, so obviously foreskin is always meant as a stinky, dirty thing. So get it done wasn't really a problem for me. But in my case it is pornographic which exposed the most to what a men without foreskin would perform and feel and inspired me to get rid off my foreskin. Not until my college, I was always retract my foreskin, leaving it exposed to my underwear/ pants to friction and numbing it. Of course the first time, during my teens, it really does caused sting-kinda- ticklish sensation but within 3 days I remembered so far the majority of the sensations/ sensitivity went down. So during my college days and my exposure and inspiration to get cut, I started to used coconut oil and pull and holding my foreskin back while reaching orgasm. In short it was amazing and sooner I felt super uncomfortable with my foreskin covering and realized that's the accurate time to get rid off it permanently. Today is 5 years I'm living and enjoying my life as voluntarily circumcised boy.
Not everything we can have peer reviewed but there are plenty way more than a academic studies out there named experience. Here you go!!reddit.com/r/circumciseduk/...
