Sensitive glan after circumcision
You are very early in the recovery process. Give it time.
Thanks mate. How long do you think it will take? Its really sensitive. Can i put any Vaseline on it. Sensitive when it touches anything, like boxers. I was told to sink wash for a few days. I'm scared to shower and bath at the moment. Its been day 4 so far.
Combinatin of both. It will desenitize but also, you will get used to it. Give it time.
Every guy is different so it will take as long as it takes. Your glans needs to experience its new to ncovered state to adapt to it.
I agree with you buddy. You are right every guy is different. I had done circumcision before 4.5 months ago and still 30% sensitivity is still on glance. My doctor said you skin type is over sensitive and so doc said you need more 3 months. And my reaction was like ZOMG.... Holy crap!!!!!
Doctor is right tho.
your bang on with that it was just over 5 months with keep safe
Welcome to circumcised club. Lol there is no club just joking.
It takes time to get used to exposed glans so bear with it.
Some tips to fasten the desensitization is to dessicate the glans area 24/7 applying scent free talcum by gently apply on exposed corona sulci part carefully not to stuck inside incision and then dust off with tissue.
You should practice grit for sometime and bear this as process of keratinization of glans takes time. This is what is called tuning of penis. Once its gets this point its fairly easy to endure and you get acoustomed to circumcised state. Good luck
I'm on day 4. I been showing since day 2. However I have my back to shower and put my hand over penis no issues and felt like steam made me feel better .. I have also read ppl put on condom in shower but I didn't
First 10 days, I freaked out. I thought the doc messed up, it's not healing properly, the stitches would never come out... worry worry worry. I would say the first 2 weeks your body is in "what the hell did you do" mode. It's trying to calculate and recover what is going on.
I'm on week 9 right now, and all I would have to say if give your body a break instead of judging it so harshly. You may heal faster or slower than some, but you will heal. My advice is get some 1 inch gauze wrapping, some Gentle Tap, compression underwear, and if you really need it, a jock strap with a sports cup.
Sleep naked. Let it dry and air out.
You'll be swelling for at least 2 weeks. Stitches wont start falling out until week 4 and will be out be week 5. Show your doc all scabs in case they need to prescribe you an anti-biotic.
Yes it will change. The total healing process can take up a year. So, hang in there. It will get better and you will enjoy it. Be patient my friend. And remember no sex until about 6 weeks or with your doctor advice.
Damn i am feeling like this comment is especially for me. You are right i am on 4.5 month currently and you are right it may take 1 year that's what i am feeling right now
Hey man, feeling better? I'm on day 4 and today is the first day I could wear an underwear! It was very sensitive, couldn't barely walk. I hope we all heal well and soon
