3 weeks post sleeve cir advice - stitches, silicone gel/tape, shorter penis when erect, when to start sexual activity PLEASE HELP!!!

Hi guys, had a circumcision 3 weeks ago and just after some advice post recovery. I had the ‘sleeve method’ and it appears to be mid-ish (neither high or low) and tight. Any help/advice to the following questions would be greatly appreciated!

1. Stiches dissolving timeframe: I still have dissolvable stiches (at 3 and 9 o’clock) around the shaft. How long does it usually take to dissolve?

2. Silicone gel and silicone tape: I’ve heard that silicone gel (to apply during the day) and silicone tape (use around scar at night) can have fantastic results to reduce the appearance of a scar and flattening the skin between incisions. Has anyone used these silicone products? If so, at what point did you start using them? I’m only at my 3rd week and don’t know the best timing to start using these products. Or when to start using any of these scar products like Bio-Oil or even Vaseline..?

3. Shorter penis on erection: I definitely have a shorter penis on erection than I did before. I do notice that around the area of the incision and joining of shaft skins that that shaft area is swollen and ‘harder and more tender’ when I massaged/squeezed when compared to other area of the shaft that is softer ‘normal’ as it always was. Is this normal 3 weeks post surgery to have a ‘shorter’ erection? Have others experienced this as well?

4. Masturbation/Sex post surgery: What week in did you start these pleasurable activities? I’m scared about stiches opening or opening the wound areas. Not that I would be violent, but keen to understand at what week-mark others started these activities.

5. Any other advice from your experiences would be handy to share?

hey man. You're ahead of me. I'm day 7 but interested in any gels to use. I've had some bleeding from erections pulling on everything also in last day my head has become very sore and sensitive can't move without pain even with it wrapped in bandage

Hey bro, for me the very first two weeks was the worst for swelling , blood and bruising… but things get better from there. I’d highly recommend salty warm water (normal table salt, not iodised) in a jar that can accommodate all your junk for 10 mins every day will help significantly for wound healing and avoid infections. For silicone gels, I’m unsure and more so when to start using them. Seems I must have asked too many questions and wrote too much as no one has responded. Erections are a pain but uncontrollable. Try and tuck in your knees to your chest, it can help. Have you noticed your erections smaller or it’s as it was before the circ? Good luck for the next week man!

Thanks so much for the info and sorry for not actually answering yours! Good advice man. I'll try and find something for a salt wash - a large vase should work my erections are odd as my penis isn't getting as big as it did but I suppose that's good or the wound would pull right apart. Hopefully full erect length returns. Cheers man

Answer for Q1: you can try gently to remove the stitches by really really soaking it in mild warm water. Otherwise the probability for tunnels are there, I got too. But I did revision later as I did voluntarily circumcised for sexual pleasure.

Q2: I didn't used silicone product but I used anti scar gel most probably a water based- the kind like transparent one rather than pearly creamy colour which is sticky.

Q3: I assume that your skin is a little extra there. I mean that swelling or soft kind of situation is might be due to a little skin leftover for a comfortable erections. Though I didn't get what you really meant by "shorter erections"?

Q4: as a circumcised men, I can understand the urge you had bud but please wait another or two week, give your tool to heal, so that you can enjoy the rest of your life with your newly accustomed rod.
