Moist stiches after circumcision

I'm on my day 7 post circumcision, is it normal to have moist and sticky stich area , stiches have a covering of yellow? Also i clean my penis everyday by soaking it into warm water and then apply antifungal cream and then the stitches area roll over the glans. The shaft skin is covering almost 70% of the glans while flaccid, anything unusual about all these and what should i do right

Im on the 2 week and I have the same maybe I thought it’s because of the cream that I used that one that Dr told me to apply 🤷🏻‍♂️

I am on day 2 and doc has taken off the dressing .. No cream advised .. No dressing .. Only coconut oil and wash with water n soap.. It is sticky and somewhat bleeds from wound .. Guess it's ok

I recommend you to not wash it fr a few days more just to make sure the stitched area acquires a bit more strength and then u can just clean it by soaking in warm water, remember do not rub it and don't touch the stitches, u don't want them to come out prematurely. Also if it's a high cut that is your skin doesn't come over glans now, wear a gauge for a few days after applying sopramycene creame or any antifungal cream.

Hi , I washed today with iodine providone solution ( 1 cap diluted in a mug of water ) , felt good post it in the sense stuck up blood drops and all got washed away. Applied coco oil post it. Doc says not to use any cream , actually he didn't advise iodine solution too but I felt it was required considering the build-up & risk of infection. May use just water going ahead. Thanks for your suggestions though , all this seems too confusing . When did you start washing and how many times in a day ? Wish you good health too !!

Yup thanks! I started washing it daily from day 5 onwards, i just soak it in warm water along with table salt in it, and also i clean the deposit yellow white whatever near the stitched by wooden toothpick very carefully so that it gets clear also stitches are safe as well. I do it while i have to urinate badly so that i don't need to clean everytime. It's like fighting for the days. All the best. Any suggestions are welcome. I'm on my day 11

I can observe some yellow stuff on the underside at Frenulum.. Not sure if I would want to touch it , tried doing right post surgery at hospital and almost fainted.. First surgery of my life ( hopefully last too ) hence not so prepared I guess . Didnt realise what it could lead to, post that I just drizzle water there as doc says that area has lots of nerves and hence quite sensitive . Giving it some time in the meanwhile . Does salt water stings your wounds etc ?

No salat water doesn't sting as such in my case atleast, yes frenulum area u have to be really careful fr 1 week atleast, i just want to give u one suggestion that don't be playful with ur willy now like i used to see it regularly after se time, try to see everything, tried to touch stitches to just explore but don't do it. Forget about it fr a week and u r free from infection, blooding anything.

Hi , It is going to be Day 6 tomm and my prescribed pain killer ( 1 Tab in night ) has finished. I still feel some pain in the wound line and tip.. Is it ok to take Lbugesic tab for some more days ? & is it ok to feel pain until now .. My doc doesn't want to respond over call or msg and I really don't wanna drive till his clinic considering the bumpy roads .

I took 10 painkillers (2 per day) for 5 days, so yeah it's perfectly fine to have them and it's ok to have some pain, mine started receding after a week and yesterday on day 12th, i visited the doc and he himself removed most of the stitches since i healed well and now there's only one significant wound under frenulum, rest are almost healed. So yeah, the best u can do is start cleaning under warm water and hold on fr few more days, u'll be much happier just 4-5 days after. Also dontneed to wear dressing now and if possible let it air dry fr a whipe daily

Thanks for your quick response mate .. Really helps !! I too have a significant would at Frenulum area . Will continue with pain killers for now & yes I have started washing with warm water and using a hair dryer at cool setting to air dry post bath.

Whoever made this platform Really deserves a big thank you note. This is better than my doctor.

Hi . so I have large yellowish formation where Frenulum was and somewhat of blood drops that come out from the area around while sleeping etc. It is 8th day today. Is this normal or should I show to a doc ? I m not taking any anti biotic since day 4.

Perfectly normal, that yellow fluid is released by lymph nodes and that is a sign of healing underneath. So it's alright

So the wound on underside & frenulum was still bleeding hence consulted another doc and was advised to start using gauze with betadine cream for next 3 days.. Also some antibiotic - Augmentin again for 3 days. Hopping this helps fasten the healing process.

I hope it does, how many stitches u still have

Not sure by 6 or 7 I could count on topside.. Frenulum area none are visible and as I said earlier too that wound exits hence assuming they all have dropped off.

Anyways started using betadine cream + gauze and it seems to be helpful.. Tried wearing underwear but the cloth sticks hence not going to use for at least some more days.

How r things at your end?

3week mark, 3 stitches left, all seems good, frenulum base is healing, 2 red bumps subsiding by day, also got corona, so no other option just to lie down, i hope everything get sort out by this month.
