Hi, I need some advice as what I need to do next. I had a circumcision operation almost 3 months ago. Everything has healed fine. Except one big problem. Before circumcision I was 7 inches long and good sized girth. Post circumcision I am only 6 inches long, the girth is the same.
Ive noticed that when erect some of my penis is hidden and concealed in the pubic pad area, I think theyve cut too much skin of as its way too tight.
Ive seen couple other people mention this before
What do I do to get my old length back, the scar line feels so tight and I can see the erect penis under the skin in pubic pad area.
Help me people
Thanks

The skin will stretch as time passes. Think 3-6 more months. The healing process is not quite as quick as some would like. Im 10 months post op and things have finally loosened up.
Mate I’m experiencing exactly the same thing, I’m nearly 3 weeks post op and it’s fucking with my head!! It’s like the skin is too tight and is stopping me getting fully hard.
I experienced that around the same time...the problem I have no 3 months post-op is that when i get hard it pulls skin from my pubic pad...dont know what to do
I was circumcised at 14 I am now 32. I noticed the next day after surgery that my penis became buried. 18 years later it's still buried and since then has not gotten as big as before circumcision. I also have had premature ejaculation issues since that surgery. It altered my life for the worst and is the biggest regret of my life.
My apologies mate Im not doing the #metoo crap. I just found this forum yesterday, and it was a blessing because I honestly thought my situation was rare. I have felt alone with this issue my whole life. But by happen stance while searching tugging and foreskin restoration devices I found this and wanted to put my situation out there so people know they are not alone. I wasn't trying to be negative, I was just being honest. My foreskin was great, but at the time I was convinced life would be better without it. I don't recommend circumcision to anybody personally. Since my cut It has stayed in my mind that it was a mistake to do. As for advice, after a while fully erect will feel pretty normal but it won't ever be the full feeling of gliding forsekin again. I would get erections and pull the skin all around the scar line often to help stretch it. also I learned over the years not masturbate and ejaculate often because it looks and feels smaller when drained daily.Even then I always have had tight skin after the cut. I've tried many methods over the years. But it has never become "loose" again. it definitely gets looser but it will always be tight if it was cut too tight.I even ripped my frenulum a little bit in the earlier years. Now its scared like a little shark fin.
I'm not kidding.
My best advice is dont let it consume your thoughts like it did mine. Be at peace with it being gone.life will be normal.
I can help with support and questions if anybody needs.
Hey Man, sorry to hear your situation it sounds like you have been cut quite tightly with it becoming buried. just wondering if you tried doing Jelqing in the past it might help.
But as you said don't let it consume your head and be at peace with it. That's very good advice Man
Why do want the length back? You are now circumcised, and that is much more important. If you are really concerned, discuss it with your GP or Urologist. Sometimes losing weight can help. Keep enjoying your circumcised penis.
Who wouldn't want their original length? It's obvious some doctors just are bad, and people should go complain directly to their docs bringing up this issue or the doctors will never know and keep making the same mistakes.
Yea after circ, mine became buried as well. Sometimes I have to wiggle and or shake it so it can come out to play. It kinda sucks tho cuz when I sit down it goes into hide
Am sacred this just happened to me as well got circumcised and i lost length what should I do ?
Hi mate I posted this in another forum on this site... it is quite a long read and a little bit different only in the sense that I had my circumcision done as a child/baby – and suffered greatly from it! Including buried penis, very tight skin! And pretty much everything else you have written and what others have written below –
Hope this helps! I had to get a “scrotal flap surgery” which effectively adds more skin to base of penis using scrotal skin.... it’s due to the fact they took far too much skin off at infancy and I grew up much “larger” than they thought? Or they just fucked up and took too much off
Had this operation 2.5 years ago now and have not looked back! You won’t get a foreskin but it will lessen then buried penis! And also add the much needed skin back!
FYI why did you decide to get a circumcision? Out of interest?

Circumcised Issues & “Choices Opportunity” as a male -post
I agree with this forum and “fetish” and as a gay male with a diverse understanding on this topic that not just from pornography and some people on dating apps, whom specifically add “preferences” eg: foreskin “play” or “preference” - which is a whole other issue!
However I slightly digress -
Key items to my Post & my main point is:
1) Choice: the fact that as male whom was NOT given the choice to have my foreskin removed! This is the whole dynamic and disappointing factor that has taken a long time to process; my whole family (males) weren’t circumcised my father decided he wanted me to have it! And he did it later in life in his mid 30’s due to “cleaning” very strange; but HE got that choice
They took that away from me! The choice to decide
2) Furthermore the other issues are dangers and risk back in the 80’s in South Africa it was common and also a “fast process” and thus I was subjected to the unfortunate statistic that I had too much skin removed! This was disastrous as pointed out to me later in my late teens and then again in my mid 20’s the same urologist in Australia where we immigrated to when I was young 10 years old. Due to puberty and penile growth my erections began to hurt a lot pulling of skin!
The urologist recommended a scrotal “skin flap” surgery to relieve the tight skin, this was due to the fact that the circumcision done at infancy had removed far too much skin for the size of my penis. You can research skin flap if you like it’s common for women whom where circumcised etc and other procedures - the cost was enormous over $15k-18k
Upon doing this the penis “shot out” according to doctor while I was asleep in the operating theatre; this was NOT intended for enlargement but for relief to the pain of erections- At the time prior to skin flap procedure my erect penis was just on 7inches and post skin flap extended another 1.8inches!
3) This show the enormous pressure that had been on my penis shaft and skin off for so many years, and the dangerous negligence of paediatricians just taking and guessing “amount of skin” & certain outcomes! (This was the 80’s) and new “tools” for this awful procedure have been made and others BANNED!
4) Research: before you decide on this procedure I suggest you watch a documentary or even just watch the actual circumcision procedure being done on a helpless infant; and see the disgusting emotional pain and suffering it causes and what they go through 1000’s of nerves being severed off - This is available on the two offical documentaries mentioned at the end of this post, done by medical scientists and doctors, who followed the research and statistics available on the actual science of why circumcision is totally unnecessary.
Summary:
Overall my main concern is that children male/female should all be given a choice!! I have never experienced such emotional and psychological pain from something that just should not have been done without my consent! Don’t forget it is a human being and not your property, when they are born i.e. it is a living male human being and has every right to decide what they want to do with their body!
Science and Evidence:
- every search topic regarding this circumcision and health, well-being, STD, HIV, cancer etc... all come up with “reasons to do” this cruel procedure, for “prevention” which has unfounded realistic statistics now available showing it is absolutely not necessary.
Yes in some countries where HIV is prevalent and unprotected sex is common the risk maybe higher; However they are adults and if they want to practice unprotected sex that it is up to them to take that risk, why we who are in the modern western world and are still performing a barbaric excise of skin is ridiculous! For things that statistically are so low! Educate your sons and show them! They can clean, practise safe sex and there are many males “entacted” in western world and are fine! My grandfather is 85 and uncircumcised (he warned my parents not to do this) he is a top Anaesthetist specialist. Hence was helpful in my problem later in life.
For Me:
Overall for me after two operations and fixing this tight skin situation and pain, it has left many emotional and physical scars, luckily with certain laser and other scar treatments have rectified the issue and still working out what to do next emotionally.
Speaking with my family and my current partner helped a lot, and being more open about male health is essential! Luckily my partner does not care about my circumcised penis, however as mentioned in the beginning a lot of other males particularly in the gay community consider it a make or break, which is simply just a matter of preference, my preference would be to have my foreskin back,
*however they don’t grow on trees and they aren’t replaceable! So think before you snip!
Thank you for this forum and hope this other side and point of my experience might hopefully help someone else out; please speak out and reach out if you need.
FYI – there are two documentaries on circumcision one being on Netflix and the other on Amazon, with scientists and paediatricians and nurses – they speak in a very polite and scientific manner on pros and cons (mainly cons against male circumcision) However the science behind the documentaries is extremely useful in making decisions and seeking to understand.
How are you getting on now? Have you had any improvements?
I too am in a similar boat and wanted to post. I lost over an inch, I am now over 6 weeks after (which my doctor said would be fully recovered by now) and have not seen any improvement. I also think that too much skin was removed because some of the scrotum climbs up the shaft when erect. My wife hates it when we tried oral sex for the first time after the surgery, and I have also lost lots of sensitivity. It is much more difficult to climax. I am hopeful that it will improve over time, but if I don't see it in the next 8 months I am probably going to try having a revision done. To be fair, there is still quite a bit of swelling and hard lumps under the skin that will hopefully resolve. Trying to stay positive
Yeah mine was similar, I was circumcised 10 years ago still my scar line feels tight and sometimes when flaccid I almost feel my pennis goes into my body(buries pennis)and when errect it is just 6 inches long. So still my scar line feels tight when errect and some skin from public pad area comes along with my errection. I don't think this issue will be solved post circumcission. This happens only when your doctor performes tight circumcission rather one can opt the loose one.
