Any best practices to get rid of glans sensitivity after the circumcision?
The more the glans is in contact with clothing, etc the sooner your brain will accept it as normal and no longer register sensitivity. You basically just have to grin and bare it.
Just wait for few days
I would agree with Roddythescot, you just have to tough it out. The more you cover it up or don't wear clothes, the longer it will take to get used to the sensation.
I’m in the same boat, I can’t have sex at all. Can do other sexual activity but I still have sensitivity, bad so I can’t have set, and I’m 3 months after the operation. Just have to grin and bare it as much as possible and it should hopefully resolve, but I know the frustration!
If it's only 25 days since the operation, then it will probably fix itself, but there are numbing creams and sprays, and you could search for "underwear for circumcised men" or "manhoodcanada".
Thanks, will check this underwear
Sensitivity was the worst part of the recovery for sure. During one of my follow up appointments my doctor gave me some lidocaine which helped numb the most sensitive parts. Only had to use it a few times. I'm 4 months from my circumcision and sensitivity isn't an issue anymore
Thanks for informing. Another issue I am facing now is swelling after masturbation
How long ago did u cut? It's recommended not to masturbate or have intercourse until 6 to 8 weeks after procedure.
As mentioned I am more than 4 months past my procedure. I still experience some swelling after sexual activity and think this will be the case for a while
No it hasn't been - but I do need a little more time in between to recover. Let's just say I won't be having any all-day sex marathons in the near future.
I am wearing tight briefs and works around the house but if I try to walk normally outside it is painful. I am day 11. Running is my goal but seems a long way away
