I am 12 days post op. The wound is healing well. For the first 10 days I was mostly naked from the waist down. I started using underwear again and am looking for some tips to help reduce sensitivity. It's not painful, I just have discomfort with the glans rubbing against anything and get a mild erection from the glans rubbing against the fabric of my underwear.
Is there anything I can to do to help reduce sensitivity?
Thanks.

No clue its day 12 for me and i still prefer staying naked from waist down.. Cant let the stitches lead to any injuries by any means.. For sensitivity try applying petroleum jelly. I myself have stopped applying ointments as the doctor said let it desensitize naturally cause the anesthetic ointments would prolong the natural normal sensation
My stitches have mostly fallen off. That's why I am able to use underwear. I was hesitant to use any type of underwear because of the fear of my stitches getting caught in them. Most of them fell of yesterday and the rest are quiet short and covered by scabs so they don't get caught.
Please stop using petroleum jelly. It will just delay the desensitisation process. I can suggest you the fabric type. Try using viscose material if cotton hurts. When cotton was hurting for me, viscose material was my life saver. A day aayi I thought I wouldn’t even be able to bear the underwear. But today I’m walking at my normal pace with the viscose material. You’ll find it at jockey. Also, I don’t use petroleum jelly with this material underwear.
I wrapped mine at night and wore a jock so it would not rub and hurt. I am at 3 weeks and two days. The sensitivity is gone. I have one more big scab. I wore my foreskin retracted sometimes before the circ so it was not extremely painful. I am walking around erect most of the time from the rubbing though.
Try staying naked most of the time. Make urself salt or smoketree baths to help ur glans recover faster. For the sensitivity part best you can do is use lidocaine (Emla - is the strongest i know, or others) other than that you must push through it, its gonna be painful i went through it it was hard but has to happen
The skin of your glans need to adapt and if you are wearing underwear with no bandages, the friction will speed up the process.
I started wearing underwear in 5 days post op and within 2 weeks I did not feel any discomfort except for sudden erections with tight pants. In 4 weeks I was fully recovered and started to masturbate touching the glans with no pain/discomfort.
I cleaned the would site twice a day with salt water. One heaped teaspoon of salt in a glass of warm water. You can also soak the the penis in salt water to help with loosening stiches. Also I not sure what dissolvable stiches were used on you, maybe different from the type used on me so salt may not work. You can try though.
I am also having the same issue at day 15. The rest of the wound is looking good and sealed. It's just the frenulum that looks swollen and raw. What are you doing to help assist with the healing of the frenulum?
