Its 20 days post circumcision surgery due to phimosis...all stitches got dissolved...wound almost healed( only a very small wound left below frenulum area which will be alright within 3-4 days) ..my glan sensitivity reduced a lot but still have sensitive glans ( able to touch glans but causes pain sometime when it gets rub with underpants/underwear). How much time it will take to reduce glans pain senditivity???? Doctor advised me to take 2.5-3 month rest before having sex. Can i give blowjob to my gf after total of 4 weeks?? Or 6 weeks?? ( After surgery date)??

Glans sensitivity reduction time after phimosis circumcision ?? healing time after surgery? 20 days after circumcision result below
Well , firstly frenulums take long time to heal and may completely heal by 2months although it will appear to have healed earlier in my opinion. Glans sensitivity will decrease over time and if you are one of the lucky people it might remain. If it's bothering you , you might want to try applying petroleum vaseline jelly or aqueous non scented moisturizer without chemicals on the glans that will help you out. It took around 3 weeks for me to get the sensitivity to bearable and I used Vaseline. Would recommend you to follow by your docs advice and give it rest for 2.5 to 3 months. Hes the best judge here . =)
No problem with you giving a bj to your girlfriend but if it's the other way round it's better to wait till it has completely healed. Also for sexual activities(any kind) if I were you I would listen to my doc and wait for 3 months because there has to be a reason why he said 3 months instead of 6 Weeks.
Cheers ! All the best !
Good advice! It helped me as well. I wanted to ask is it good to use ointment from marigolds? Its like bio oil i think it helps recovery because i still have some discomfort left on the glance and the scar line.
Any moisturizer that won't irritate too much are equal to Bio-Oil. The idea is just to keep scar moisturized at least first 6 months or so.
Right, thanks bud!
I still use a strip of re-usable silicone scar sheet. I think it keeps the moisture balance better than ointment or oil cause they'll dry off skin or get wiped off to undies.
Like S2BC has said , any moisturiser without added chemicals and fragrances is best . I hope by now you are doing well 🙂
Way better now, only discomfort left sometimes! It needs time.
Good to know, did it take about 2 months for your sensitivity then? I’m at the one month mark and it’s improved but still have issues with it (haven’t been able to resume normal physical activities yet).
