Glans sensitivity post zsr partial circumcision

I have got done my partial stappler zsr circumcision 12 days before. I was told the silicon ring (in place of stiches in zsr) will fall in 15 to 21 days. My half ring from upper side of penis has fallen off by its own. I am keeping gauzes swab still with glyercin as adviced by doctor to reduce swelling.

However at times the bandage get stucks with frenulum area and starts bit bleed when removed. Although my wound is healing pretty much fine but i am very afraid of touching my naked glans with anything except gauze swabs. I am still keeping it under swab but i wanna know how long i have to keep like this. What if even after 1 month the same gonna feel hypersensitive? I am regretting my circumcision as i was quite comfortable before it but now everytime i have to be cautious even with turning sides on bed.

Should i use lox loction or anything to get rid of?

As of now yes

The dressing may interfere with the dried up wound . To ease this you might apply some anti fungal oil to make the crusty wound loose.

Hypersensitivity is common for those who never had their glans open due to phimosis.

It will take some weeks or months to get glans keratinize.

Wear loose soft cotton underwear to minimize the friction initially. Keep it open in air for it to dry up. Dryness helps glans toughen up fast.

Try to have gut feeling to endure this discomfort for few weeks. Soon the glans will learn to adjust to the friction and you will be fine.

(One random hack i used was to apply &rub non scented fine talcum powder to dry it up fast. :D)

It's fine to keep a dressing on whilst the wound is still open. However, try to cover only the open wound, not the whole penis.

The more the glans is able to dry out and be in contact with clothing, your hand, etc the faster your brain will adapt to reduce the excessive sensitivity to ordinary touch that has built up with the glans always cocooned in the foreskin. You will need to man up and fight your way through some discomfort to reach the goal.

Let it heal completely. Sure you would be just fine. You have to bear the sensitivity for few weeks. Soon you will feel normal with exposed glans.

I use to soak my circumcision in 1992 in salted warm water in a paper cup or Epsom salts heals soothes the circumcision line to heal the skin .
