Very dry skin on the penis shaft and head

Ive have been dealing with this problem for about a year now. The skin on my shaft(at first) and now my head gets very dry like flaky or "ashy" expecially when i get an erection. It becomes like coat of white dust. I have tried moisturizers, they help for a bit, but after some hours or you wash it the same problem, its just masks it. I also tried triderm with no improvement and protopic for eczema, cant say i saw much improvement. I have been to multiple dermatologist some say its eczema but w/e they prescribe it doesnt work. I dont use soaps or shower gels, but even i changed all the shower gels i use. Also changed washing detergents with baby ones. Nothing seem to effect it. If anyone has had similiar problem and found something to help it please let me know.

Hi. Try Vaseline which is petroleum based and not a cream

I used pure coconut oil on my glans and shaft after my circumcision to moisturise, but I also found it helped the dry skin I had on my legs, so maybe give it a go.

I dont really think using coconut oil would help it. Its probably going to act like the moisturizer, just masks it.

I suggest you still do try Coconut oil as it seems to get absorbed into the skin more than other less natural proprietary preparations.

Do you wear pants (briefs) or boxers? Sometimes the material in the former can rub against your bits and not in a good way, making them dry and flaky which would be more noticeable when you get hard.

I have tried with wearing boxers and briefs and goiing without. for example only weaing during the gym. No difference.

speak again with your Doctor, there are many different things you can try for dry skin some creams some add to bath or when washing

You need to find a dermatologist who will take a biopsy and have it tested. Given the length of time you have had the problem, that would seem like a sensible option.

I doubt dermatologist would do that, before i had worse problems and never was recomended or said.

Hi Draco54 , it sounds to me like Phimosis , if it is painful to fully retract your foreskin , it probably is ! Go and see your GP and ask him to prescribe Betamethasone which is a steroid cream . You will no doubt have to show him your cock , but a little embarrassment is worth the alleviation
