Planning to Correct my Partial Circumcision to Full Circumcision

Hi All,

It’s been 3 months now that I had a partial circumcision, the problem I still have is foreskin left on glans feels tight to pull back and also retracting it back at times is painful.

Touching my glans still sensitive and now 3 times after surgery I have had redness and burning on glans which I was given creams and antibiotics. It went away and then comes back.

So with all these problems I feel re-circumcision is the solution for me.

If I had to go for re-circumcision as I am a grower and my glans is quite big I feel

- What type of Circumcision style should I get done as I feel the inner foreskin is what I should remove and that is getting tight and also painful to touch

- I want to remove the frenulum as I feel that area rubbing against my testical skin irritates it more, so is it good to remove the frenulum?

- After the full Circumcision surgery glans are fully open, will the glans rubbing to the testical skin be painful or will the glans not feel any rubbing and irritation?

- Will there be any reoccurrence of redness on glans after full circumcision?

PS: I also had some peeling of skin on glans in the last 1 week

I have added a photo taken 1st week December 2019 that will help to see how the redness looks and how big my glans are in flaccid state.

You can see my previous posts for other pics after partial circumcision was done.

Thank You in advance for your time and responses

Hi Man, you need to go to your doctor you have some kind of infection there or skin inflammation balanitis maybe to me it doesn't look right.

You are right you may need to be re circumcision probably low and moderately tight would be best but you need to clear up the skin first, you may need a referral to see a dermatologist.

I took this pic last week when it was bad and any rubbing to underwear was kinda burning, I went to a doctor yesterday and he gave T Bact ointment and said to apply after shower everyday, I have used it to days now and the redness on glans has reduced but urine exit area still red and on and off feels like burn when it rubs against underwear.

The doctor I went to who gave me T Bact told me don’t need to do full circumcision, I just keep quiet and will be going to another doctor this week and ask him for his view and when the surgery can be done.

MrMac99 would the glans once open not cause much pain when it rubs against the testical skin / underwear after the 4-6 week healing that I have heard of on this forum.

Sensitivity reduces over time it varies from guy to guy though some guys have it only a couple of weeks but others can have it for months

Yes u are suffering from balanitis u better use coconut oil and try to keep your foreskin retracted so it will relieve your symptoms

I agree I have Balanitis and I have got T Bact yesterday which has reduced the redness hoping it will go away soon.

I tried to keep the skin retracted for 2-3 days but my frenulum area that was moved in partial circumcision gets swollen and I have to retract it back.

Can I keep it retracted for few hours while at home and then put it back while out (until I get the full surgery done)

Wash it twice a day.... Use cotton to dry do not rub just use it like feather.. Dont wear any clothes while u retracted ur forskin... Two hours is also enough but keep check it if u feel its wet again then wipe it and make it try. Use coconut virgin oil.. Buy 3 flukonazole tab ... Once in a week. ..i was also suffered from balanitis... And i know how it feels.. Dont use too much steroids creams it will thin your skin... And last and final you better remove your foreskin... Dont forget everytime u pee wipe the tip of your penis... Take enough rest dont think too much...

Please refrain from diagnosing. We are not doctors and have performed any tests.

What has your doctors said about your heads skin?

My glans are now less red due to T Bact but as my glans are still partially covered, the glans are still staying moist and due to that when it rubs to the underwear it feels sensitive.

I am hoping once I get a full circumcision done then my entire glans will dry out and I will not have any trouble when the glans rub against clothing.

Update - I visited a renowned Urologist and he said as I am a grower no need to cut more skin as the remaining foreskin is sitting behind the glans but he will be removing the frenulum as the frenulum in the partial circumcision surgery was moved and restitched which is always staying swollen hence the doc said once the frenulum is removed glans will be free and remaining foreskin will stay behind glans

On this I have a question to this forum members that once frenulum is removed would the glans weight cause the glans to be down due to gravity and then the inner foreskin might not Bunch up but be stretched and then it could start to properly dry out to?

I wouldn’t remove the frenulum. This has the tendency to cause the penis to shorten. The frenulum is what keeps the skin in the right place. Try using coconut oil on the frenulum area. This has helped me greatly. I used to have a very irritated frenulum area.

I would go see doc I have been here many times

Best advice is to wait 12-18 months for your circumcision to completely finish healing imo. before any more operations. Im not a medical expert but if any soreness itching redness or unwanted odours ect. I experience on my penis happens I have always used canesten.co.uk/en/female/fe... to great effect in calming anything down.
