So 7 days ago I cot circumcised. The whole surgery procedure was painful as hell. Then after that I didn't sleep almost at all because my penis was unbelievably sensitive and I had to hold my shaft with my hand the whole day. After 5th day my penis sensitivity decreased a good amount except for the very top of the glans, near the urethra. Thankfully I have been able to wear gauze and be able to walk when I get out the house ( well sort of a penguin-walk) and I dont feel any pain except for the urethra and the area around that. Even the gauze touching it gives me a sharp pain and it stings, same when I go to get it off my penis, it is unbearable. You can easily see that having pain from it touching ANYTHING has got me really down mentally and sometimes I feel depressed and as if I'll never be able to wear underwear and walk normally without severe pain.

I am worried about this, so please anyone that has gone through this can give me some hope, advice? And how long does it take to the top area of the glans to not be that sensitive so I am able to wear underwear and move normally?

What do you mean procedure? Full circumcision no foreskin left and bridle removed. Surgery, even tho I couldnt watch the procedure, felt like it was done with a scalpel and the skin was sutured with sutures that dissolve. Local anesthesia.

Hi Man, things will improve it will take time though everybody is different some guy it takes only a couple of weeks but for some guys it can take longer especially if you had phimosis. it looks as if the skin on your glans have not peeled yet when this happens is usually improves. the only way to get your glans used to the sensation is to bear it as much as you possibly can wearing tight boxer briefs can help and having hot showers exposing your glans to the hot water. Hope it improves for you soon
