Trying to conceive in (peri)menopause

I am struggling to find any posts that mirror my story as it is a right now. Has anyone in perimenopause or with POI managed to conceive and how did you manage to do this? I have a very sudden onset of all of the perimenopausal symptoms in the midst of trying to conceive. My FSH and LH are both very high, and my oestrogen and testosterone low. I’m waiting on repeat blood tests now and feel incredible despair that my hopes are dashed 😔

Thank you so much for your reply, I am 41 so I don’t fall into the POI category. It does feel like there is less of us in terms of the support available and the social media presence

A colleague of mine managed to conceive with donor eggs as she was menopausal and they had been trying to conceive for years without success. She had two children with same donor. Her last pregnancy she was 46 she has a 9 year old and 5 year old.
