I have just had a positive ana result and suspected lupus so I am being referred to a rheumatologist. I have a slight red rash on both cheeks but nothing on my nose.
Can a lupus facial rash be just mildly on both cheeks and not on your nose?
thanks in advance for any replies?

I've had sle lupus since 2003 a year after my husband died. They think it was connected to the trauma? I'm on 16 tabs aday but much more 24 on mtx day once a week
I have an unraised slightly redder rash than you with little spots all the time as well as a neck rash like sunburn as if I was wearing a v neck t shirt which also never goes. They both get more or less red but never go completely. I have no rash on my nose. Negative ana but positive dsdna with a lupus diagnosis. We are all so different with symptoms I've found. Hope you find a diagnosis soon it can be a long journey sometimes.
You'd be surprised where lupus throws its rashes its not just cheeks I have toes, legs, arms with rashes and eventually I had to have infusions to reduce and eventually clear for some years . It hasn't ever been that bad since but still surprises me. X
hi there I’ve had lupus for 20 years and find my symptoms change all the time- to keep you on your toes I think! But yes I frequently have the lupus rash on my face- never had it on my nose but on cheeks, around eyes in patches or more filled in- it does vary. Currently on right side only between nose and inner cheek only! God luck!
