Hello everyone

Just popping up again to show you all these two cute harvest mice. They were photographed braving the brambles to get to the blackberries to have a feast. I love them and hope you do too.

I hope your all as well as possible and coping with all that this change of season brings.

MistyX

p.s, another foot update. Ive just seen the surgeon and he's advised one last steroid injection for this neuroma. If pain returns then its an op with a 73%success rate to stop this painful nerve. Luckily, it's worked so 🤞it stays that way!.

Still awaiting result of ct scan. Will be chasing gastro consultant again if i don't hear soon. Bet its normal though!. Thanx as ever for your wonderful support. X

These wee cuties are adorable ❤️

I’m glad to hear that the injections have been working on your foot pain. Hopefully the pain won’t return and you will avoid an op.

I have been struggling a bit with my breathing and chest pain. I had Covid at the end of July / beginning of August and it appears to have affected my asthma. Have seen the asthma nurse once and was given another inhaler to use along with the two I already have. It helped a little but my peak flow was still way down. Have seen my GP twice since then, (asthma nurse was on holiday), and was prescribed steroids and an antibiotic. These don’t seem to be doing a lot of good either. Peak flow should be around 450. I’m not getting over 350 but has been as low as 250. May have to go back to my GP and see about being referred back to respiratory medicine. This Covid has a lot to answer for 😞 Xx 🐁 🐁 🍓 🍓

Thank you ge for your lovely mesdage and good wishes. Im really sorry your still having a tough time after covid. This is the problem, how virus's can really upset our illnesses. Its worrying for you as its asthma that you have too.

I hope you can go to respiratory medicine quickly as your gp and nurse are not improving your symptoms. I'll keep my 🤞for you ge. Im relieved the three of us are still covid free.

i'll be chasing gastro soon if i don't hear from him. Im relieved about my foot and just hope the injection cures it. Updates later. So pleased you liked the mice. Take care ge and good luck. Xx🐭🤞

im Sorry to hear that Covid got to you bad .I just had Covid myself i was really worried about getting it because i have Lupus and it ate my spleen i thought i was going to be in big trouble. I had all 4 of my shots and maybe its a good thing because it didn't bother me really at all i had one day where i thought i felt like someone beat me up and was extra tired but that was it. So i thank my lucky 🌟

oh yes tiggywoos, you must tell him everything as we don't know what might just hit the spot and hopefully give a lightbulb moment!.

what a big day seeing the haematologist too. Hope that is helpful, they may even put their heads together. That can be really good too. You deserve it as you'vr struggled a long time. I love it you've named gary gallstones!. Its made me 🙂.

i'm going for a little walk in the lovdly🌞 as ive been in and doing jobs. This is what must change, doing nicer things and looking after myself. Your really helping me in this tiggy. Lots of 💕and 🤞. Xx

i should think this scan is clear as gastro is taking as long as last time to respond. Im relieved to sort one problem out anyway and hope it lasts a long time. Updates later. Take care. Xx🐭💕🍁🐭💕🍁🐭

Thanks, Misty. I am doing OK, thanks. Been a difficult time as I lost my brother to cancer a little over a month ago, but had a good day today with a couple of long phone calls with my sister and a friend. The lupus is behaving itself reasonably well, so that's one good thing! Yes, hope that no news is good news for gastro, and that your injection carries on doing the trick.

so sorry choccy you've recently lost your brother. That must be so hard for you as you must miss him a lot. Its lovely you've had a good chat with a friend. They’re so tiny aren’t they? What a lovely Shot of these adorable little mice, really very cute 🥰🐭

Thanks for your message lovely, I have replied and realised I missed a few things out 🤦‍♀️ but will catch up again very soon.

I am sorry that another op for your toe pain might be on the cards but that’s quite a good success rate so will have everything crossed if that’s what you have to do to get some relief, really hope the steroid injection will hold it off for a long time… preferably forever 🤞

Thanks for sharing this lovely cheerful cutie pic, as always a joy and is much appreciated. 🙏

Big hugs 🤗 🌸🥰🐭🐭🐭🐭xxx

Thank you dear dianne for your very kind and understanding mesdages. We have so much to talk about and share which is very special. I'm sorry i did mine to you when i was very stressed. I should have written it!. I have listened to both and i'm so very sorry about today being cancelled!!. I know it wasnt your fault as it was OH serious illness but so tough timing when you'd psyched yourself up and now the radiologist is away for a long time!!. Hope you do get a date soonish as you need the result for your Rheumy appt. Hope your OH is feeling better. I know of Meniere's disease and its horrible.

Hope you had your hip injected ok and its helping. Your right you can have the bursa removed but i don't know how successful it is. My foot surgeon(sounds posh doesnt it?. Haha!). Said no more injections because you can get fat atrophy and he said you wouldnt want that!!. Maybe itd only in the feet?. Just a thought.

i'm sorry too at your urogynae results, lots to think about isnt there?. We have difficult decisions to make in our care don't we?. You certainly don't need two big ops to cope with!!. Clever they could coordinate them 2 in 1!. Nerve pain is no fun . If you need pain relief then pregabalin or gabapentin could be tried but i think you have ?. My brain is like mush like yours. Its just awful.

Your ct scan results of abdomen have been really helpful as i know how much info my gastro will have for mine !. Its made me feel better. I hope i hear soon, its so on my mind!.

Im relieved my foot is still good and i hope thursdays injection training appt goes better. Have collected much more info for her so theres no excuse hopefully.

i will chat later in the week lovely. So pleased you liked mousey and i hope you clear that throat infection soon. Glad Matt went and not Kym!. I didnt think she should be in the dance off!. Wonderful results for Hamza!. TAKE CARE, big hugs, Xx🐭💕🥰👍🤞🐭🍁💐Xx

misty14 in reply toCecilyParsley

Thank you cecily for your lovely mesdage and good wishes. Glad you liked the mice. I hope your feeling a little better after all that you've had to cope with this year!.

My foot luckily is pain free still from the injection. 🤞it lasts a long time and maybe even cures it. I should hear from gastro this week so 🤞for that. The biliary pain has stopped again so 🤞i get a long time of respite after a 6 week attack!. Did yours settle for good eventually?. I know you suffered similarly for a long time. Take care. Xx🐭💕🐭🤞🐭💕🐭🤞🐭💕

good news about your foot pain going, long May that continue 🙏🏻My gastro problems come and go. I have not had the severity of the one year I had it thank goodness but I am not confident that it will go forever. I still get gut pain, acid reflux regularly and choking and IBS symptoms which make life very unpleasant intermittently. No identifiable triggers either but I have been better since I stopped using milk. I use KoKo milk now and like it xxx

misty14 profile image
misty14 in reply toCecilyParsley

Thank you lovely, for your 🙏for the injection. Thats interesting you gave up milk as i have too as noticed a slight difference painwise. Im enjoying Soya Milk. Ive not heard of koko milk but glad its helped you. I too get acid reflux with it.

ive got to the stage that as i do get breaks in the pain ,i may just have to live with it like you . Specially if they can't pin it down. Take care lovely. Xx

hi Misty thanks for sharing the pic of the gorgeous little Field mice ❤️ Whilst I was cleaning out our chickens this week I came across 2 baby rats - I’m not keen on the big ones but these baby rats are so sweet- Ian said “you can’t say that- rats are rats “ 😂😂 they were very cute ❤️

I’m so hoping you don’t need an opp on your food Misty , Fingers crossed for you 🤞 and also hope you get gastro results soon. As it’s strictly season I guess you are enjoying all the dancing - big hugs to you 🤗🤗😘

misty14 profile image

Thanks so much svfarmer for your lovely message. Its really making me smile tonight🙂. I bet your chickens all have names, its lovely you've got them as well. Babies are cute whatever species they are ,even rats!!. I too don't like them grown though.

Thanx so much for all your support svfarmer, i really do appreciate it. 🤞the injection finally cures the neuroma. It would be ironic to need another op to cure effects of first one but i was warned it could happen.

Do hope your keeping well and your lovely 'furs' are looking after you properly. Have a good week . Big hugs. Xx🐭💕🐭🤞💕🐭💕🤞💕🐭💕🤞💕🐭💕

So do I but it is unlikely given the support he has. I thought Will and Nancy were so under marked on Saturday too. Have you got a favourite yet? I love James Bye, Will and Hamza xxx

misty14 profile image
misty14 in reply toCecilyParsley

i haven't got a favourite yet but i do like Tyler, Hamza and Helen. I think more men will be at later rounds than women this year which is great Cecily. What do you think?. Enjoy this week's as its celebrating 100 years of BBC and we can play spot the program theme tune!. Xx🐭💕🐭

CecilyParsley profile image
CecilyParsley in reply tomisty14

Tyler is amazing but I think Hamza, Will and Jade are my favourites. When Jade came out in the leotard I thought good for you girl. A first for Strictly who tend to dress the larger ladies in tent like costumes. Of course being an Eastenders super fan I have to support James Bye too and anyone dancing with Johannes is fine by me. Just loving it this year except for the lemon xxx

misty14 profile image
misty14 in reply toCecilyParsley

i agree cecily, its fantastic what the show does for anyone, older, bigger, disabled. Its so inspiring!. I love Ellie and Nikita too for that reason. I don't watch Eastenders so don't usually like the participants . Rose was so special last year . Is she still in Eastenders?. It was a shame Giovanni was out so fast as i really like him. I'd love Rose and he to stay together. Nothing will beat last year for me!.

i love Johannes, and Gorka too.

Are you watching Bake off?. I'm not but ive seen some complaints about the presenters and wondered what you thought?. Xx💃💕💃💕💃💕💃

CecilyParsley profile image
CecilyParsley in reply tomisty14

Rose has now left Eastenders, she is starting a play at the theatre now, she is inspirational. Honestly when the music went off in that dance the hairs on my arms stood up. It was so powerful. I like Giovanni too, a real character.Yes I am watching Bake Off I love it. I love the contestants but I dislike Pru and Mat Lucas, although I love Noel Fielding. The judging has been so unkind and harsh this year because in terms of capability this years home bakers are incredible xxx

misty14 profile image
misty14 in reply toCecilyParsley

That is wonderful that Rose is doing a play and has left Eastenders!. I bet she has so much more confidence now, shes a real character. I know what you mean Cecily about ' that dance'. It was incredible when the music stopped!. I kept last year's Final and re-played it before Strictly started. Got me in the mood and blew me away!. So powerful !.

Thats cruel about Bake Off!. Ive never liked Prue Leith. So hard for the contestants!.

i'm joining your digestive club cecily. I heard from my gastro consultant who i chased and as i thought luckily ct scan was clear so pain relief only but no suggestions to help. Its like being stuck in a nightmare!. Have a relaxing weekend. Xx💕🐭💕😪

CecilyParsley profile image
CecilyParsley in reply tomisty14

oh I am so very sorry Misty. The pain is so bad you cannot stand up straight and if you are anything like me,I really thought I would perforate. Then they say they found nothing except bleeding thrush which turned out not to be bleeding thrush. The Sexual Health doctor told me that with Bechets biopsies would not confirm a diagnosis so I am suspecting when I get the severe gut pain there may be ulcers in my gut? It is all supposition as no doctor has ever been interested enough to explore that possibility with me. I know that it is good that there was nothing serious found but the pain and discomfort has to be coming from somewhere. Do you get ulcers anywhere? I send you big Cwtches and lots of love. This journey we are on is demoralising and stressful xxx

misty14 profile image
misty14 in reply toCecilyParsley

Thanx cecily for your lovely reply!. I sgree that there has to be a reason for such awful pain. I told him it was the worst id ever had and i am used to pain unlike some patients. It is apalling what we can go thru with our doctors and bodies. It is frightening what can be missed. You've been thru so much. You have a good point there about ulcers in your gut. Its very possible as ive been diagnosed with ulcerative colitis. Luckily its mild and been ruled out now but you keep on fighting if you've the strength. Its important!.

Actually, im going to write a letter to him as he just typed off a quickie on the same day i chased him!. He was going to look at my drugs and last letter he threw in something i knew nothing about. A biopsy diagnosis 10 years ago which he described as unusual without saying what it was!!. This might be an answer as he said the test could be repeated. It was my duodenom!!. I Thought it was all fine!. Im going to ask about it. I'm very unhappy about it all but will keep fighting. My gp says just live with it on painkillers but we can't the pain is too great. Trouble is the medics just don't want to know anymore post covid. He's changed!.

Keep on keeping on lovely and enjoy Sat. Big hug back Xx💃💕💃🤞💕💃

CecilyParsley profile image

It is just so damned hard to keep fighting. My husband says go to the doctor and my response always is what is the point? We deserve better. Enjoy Strictly This weekend and hope for removal of the lemon xxx

Aww, they are so cute Misty. 😍 I hope they enjoyed their fruit. One of my favourites too.😁 Thanks for sharing and making me smile.

I hope the foot pain doesn’t return and that the op won’t be necessary. 🙏🏻

I also hope it isn’t long until you get the result of your CT scan . It will be interesting to see what it says but at least if the biliary pain has gone for present you have a bit of respite. Long may it last. 🙏🏻 But I really hope the scan shows up what has been causing the pain. Keep us posted.

Take care lovely Misty. 💕🤗🐭🐭xxx

Thank you dear spotty for all your wonderful wishes and messages. I will enjoy reading them this week!.

im not surprised you were wiped out after your HUGE TRIP. What a lot you packed in and the mileage!!. I do hope your recovery is going well but it will take a long time. I hope you feel good about the accomplishment and memories!.

Foot is still pain free luckily but my digestion pain is back, too soon so i will be chasing my gastro consultsnt. I expect pancreas was clear as he's quiet still. Did you get backache after eating?. Ive got that suddenly not the biliary pain!!. Have had both!. Im so fed up with it!.

Hoping this week that on thursday my injection training goes better. Seeing the same nurse but armed with more stuff this time.

TAKE CARE and i'll be in touch. So glad you liked the mice. They reminded me of going blackberrying with my mum. Xx🐭💕🐭

Spotty-ewe profile image
Spotty-ewe in reply tomisty14

Oh no, I’m SO sorry to hear your gastric pain is back!😫 That is bad luck it has returned so soon. I used to feel the pain in my abdomen went right through to my back and I had an intense feeling of being bloated and wanting to remove any restricting clothes above my waist. Horrible feeling. No wonder you are so fed up with it.

My lower back pain is still troubling me and this afternoon after pottering in the garden I came indoors to be suddenly stabbed with excruciating pain to the right of the sacroiliac joint.😳 I couldn’t put my weight on my right leg at all so just had to wait until it subsided enough to shuffle very gently to my chair. 🥴 The course of physio exercises I was given for this problem ends on Thursday, so I think it is safe to say it hasn’t helped. ☹️

Yes, it was a huge trip of 1,597 miles over the 19 days we were away, but worth it to tend to family graves and to see all our very elderly cousins and our friends with MND and dementia, some of whom we’ll probably never see again. 😢 We are feeling our age now and won’t be doing a trip like that again. But it has produced many memories and loads of photos to remind us of the epic journey. 😉

Yes, the mice reminded me of bramble picking too. I used to go every year in the Highlands where an old retired friend used to make bramble jelly straining it through her daughter’s tights! 😜

I’ll be thinking of you on Thursday and hoping the injection training goes well this time. 🙏🏻 💕🤗🍀🤞🐭🐭xx

misty14 profile image
misty14 in reply toSpotty-ewe

so sorry spotty to read of your back problem still dezpite the pbysio. Its so disheartening isnt it when we need relief. It sounds like your muscles/nerves or ligaments as its not the joint itself!!. Hopefully by resting more after your long trip it will settle. But im no expert!.

Will be in touch later this week. Ive had such a BIG response to the mice. Wbich is wonderful. I made bramble jelly just likde you did with my mum!. 🙂, 🤞the physio comes up with another suggestion for you. Take Care. Xx🐭💕🐭🤞🐭💕🐭🤞🐭💕

Nothing as cute as field mice! As a child I had 6 guinea pigs in hutches in the garden and in the winter the field mice used to slip inside the netting front and share the warm hay in the hutch with them at night.

In the morning when I opened the hutch to feed them all those tiny field mice used to jump out and off into the garden till the next night!

Glad your foot is relieved with the injection but so hope no op is needed.

Miserable for you that the gastro pain is back and as yet no proper solution to it all! Hope your gastro man can find an answer.🙏xx

I have good news...I'm getting a car!! It should be at the garage on 12th November. It's a Ford EcoSport..third car that I've picked so this has gotta be lucky eh?

I have bad news too..husband has Covid but he's feeling much stronger today..still positive but he's on the mend thankfully!! It was a worrying time but I seem to be ok..no covid symptoms..plenty of lupus ones though coz I've been taking care of him..doing too much etc!! 😹😷He's gonna do another test tomorrow.

So sorry your husband has had covid!. What a worry and a big stress for you. Well done for not getting it , 🤞it continues. So pleased you loved the mice.

Take care and hope your symptoms settle soon. Hope your hubby gets good news too. Im loving Strictly for the escapism and being careful with my dancing!. Relieved foot is better, had a lot to sort out with Endocrinology too so you be careful with those steroids. Xx🐭💕🐭
