This fortnight has gone fast as here i am again hopefully sharing a smile with you all!.
I've chosen these two trekking alpacas Sam and Dante from the Scottish Borders because i love their cheeky faces. I wonder what they're saying to each other?. Has anyone gone Alpaca Walking?.
The're one of my favourite animals and ive needed a smile this week as i had myfoot steroid injection cancelled due to covid!!. So very disappointing as in a lot of pain but i guess it kept me safe. I'm hoping it will be done on the 11/4 or 25/4. Im waiting to hear. π€
Keep as well and safe as you all can.

No, still no news regarding my rheumy appointment. It is bad when you learn to live with pain π Keep hoping the postie will bring an appointment letter but so far nothing. Your pics really help to keep me smiling. I have added one to my reply to try and keep you smiling too. Hopefully time will pass quickly for you and you will get your injection. Xx π πββ¬ π¦

π€you have better news soon too. Glad you like the pics ge, take care and keep safe. Xxπ€ππ€ππ»ππ
Hi Misty so disappointing for you to have your steriod injection put on hold as know how much pain your in. The 2 Alpacas are super cute- I took my sister for her 50th Birthday last year for Alpaca walking and my mum came too - it was such a good day out and gave us both a good laugh - the one I walked , canβt remember his name now but all he wanted to do is eat and not walk ππ π¦π¦π¦π
That must have been such fun svfarmer as alpacas are their own characters!! A 50th birthday to remember definitely.
My schoolfriend has her 50th to remember on Monday!!. Staying home with covid, not what she'd planned at all!!. So far luckily its mild with this nasty cold.
How is your exercise going?. Do hope your getting this lovely sunπ and enjoying lovely Bea and Mira Walks.
Thanx for your lovely message. Hopefully, next fortnight ill have better news. Keep safe. Xxβ€π€π»β€π¦π·β€ππΊβ€πXx
Exercise is bit hit and miss at the moment as my knee is really playing up am enjoying some lovely walks with Bea & Mira though as like you say the sun has been shinning β take care xxx

Adorable , I would love to stroke them as they look so soft and cute π₯°So sorry to hear about the delay in your foot injection, you have been waiting so long already. I will keep my fingers crossed tight that you will get one as soon as possible .
Hope you had a Happy St Patricks Day βοΈXxxβοΈ
Thanx weathervane for your lovely message. Glad you liked the alpacas too. I love their expressions. Hope your lad is making a good recovery and your still negative. Hope your rheumy appt was helpful and your rid of the UTI.
I need all the π€i can get as cases here have risen and they're cancelling ops again due to poor staffing. When will it end?. How about your area?. Thankfully lots are still wearing masks and social distancing.
Ive had an awful St Patrick's Day thanx. How about you?. I went to the dentist at the wrong time and couldnt be seen. I got the time wrong!!. Luckily its only a check up and i wasnt charged . Have another appt on mon so will make the trek again. Its all effort and foot is screaming at me tonight.
Still its nothing really compared to Ukraine.
Hope you've had the πtoday, its beautiful and set to last. Lovely seeing Spring coming. Have a lovely weekend. Ill be resting my foot ready for my trek!!. Xx
My eldest son felt rough his chest was bad because has asthma, but got antibiotics, the covid knocked him for 6 , slept for days . We left meals and shopping over to him to keep him going. Heβs fine again now and back to himself , thank goodness π
I think most people are still wearing masks here but alot of people have stopped and not keeping their distance which Iβve always felt worried about.
You are having a bad time with appointments at the moment, you were lucky to get another dental appointment so quickly. I need to arrange a check up , next thing on my list π
We had a very quiet St Patricks Day , which was actually lovely π
It was a lovely day today, my husband was actually out cutting the grass , his favourite job π€ͺ . I havenβt spread the wild flowers yet . Next week is to be nice so my son is going to clear the bank and spread them there .
I hope things to improve for you and no more cancelled appointments.
Enjoy the spring weather xxxxxπ€π€π₯°π»π»πΉπΈβοΈ
Gorgeous Alpacas Helen, theyβre so cute, I love their little tartan scarves π₯° , I think if I remember rightly there were some lovely Alpacas on Kelvinβs big farming adventure with such beautiful thick coats. The little mice I knitted were made from Alpaca wool too π
I really hope you get the earlier date for your injection. Fingers crossed for you π€
Thank you for your lovely message, Iβll reply soon itβs been a bit of a busy week getting ready for my op, would you believe today my tum has been painful , Iβve been in a better place mentally the last few days so donβt know whatβs set it off, I guess it could be stress , just feels like everything is on the edge π¬
Take care lovely and Iβll message you soon π₯°π·πxxx
Don't worry dianne, its me to message you which i will this weekend. Im so sorry about ypur tum but its usually stress. I bet you've had a million and one things to do. I know i did!!.
Ive just turned up at the dentist at the wrong time and ive got to phone the hospital to book this camera test. If only it were parties and not medical heh!. πͺ.
Thinking of you lovely, lots of tlc and we'll chat soon. Big hugs. Xxπβ€ππ€πβ€π
What sweet babies, balls of fur. Thanks Misty, for giving me a grin ear to ear. I think storm is part alpaca, let the shedding begin, lol. I do pray you get the injection soon, pain is hard to swallow. I will say more prayers for you and with shutdowns, soon may be coming here too, its cruel... Keep positive, keep posting those wonderful pics, and stay strong. ..much peace and love, the stormy sunshine xxxxxx
Thank you the storm for your lovely message. I do hope your health is improving. Glad you liked the alpacas.
I will keep posting pics as i love hearing how im helping everyone. It helps me keep going also, deciding on which ones to post.
Hopefully next fortnight i will have better news with 11/4 confirmed for injection. News tonight isnt great for covid cases and operations being stopped. πͺ.
Hoping to walk with these very two alpacaβs on my trip to the highlands this May. We are driving the north coast 500 route and have this booked as one of our stops on the drive up. They are so cute, I reckon they are discussing fashion tips !
Thats amazing stills that its the same two!. I hope you have a lovely time and will share some photos. Should be warmer in May!!. Xxπβ€πβ€πβ€
i don't know how you do it, but each picture is even more wonderful than the last. So love this one! I am a big fan of alpacas and llamas and have embroidered some llamas on towel and pictures. I wish Gigi cold have a pair to herd around. She would love it. Really sorry about the delay in your injection. Just not right. I will hope and pray that you will be able to get it soon. Have a nice weekend.
Thanx so much pumpkin for your lovely message. So pleased you like the pic and like alpacas and llama's like i do too. Its the Times Newspaper that prints these different pics with fun captions. Its lovely how you all love them so much.
How is your foot doing?. I hope your health has improved. Hopefully in next fortnight i will get the 11th confirmed, need to hear from the pain dept.
They are soooo cute Misty. Rosemary loves them and I had considered buying her a Llama trek as a gift. I am so very sorry that your injection was cancelled. You must be frustrated and fed up being stuck in pain. I send you huge Cwtches and lots of love and a little image to make you smile xxx
Thanx so much cecily for your lovely message and soooo cute dormouse pic. I love them too so thank you for the lovely smile. So appreciate it.
Im in a lot of pain with it and went to the dentist at the wrong time so missed my check up. Luckily i wasnt charged and have another appt on Mon but its the added effort for us to go and then its in vain!!. Now got more pain.
Have you seen Mr Orthapod yet. I do hope it went well if you have. My π€are for you.
Oh no bless you. I couldnβt go to my dental appointment for an impression for the tooth I knocked out when I fell due to laryngitis so I have to now wait until mid May. I also had to cancel the Ortho appointment for the same reason but I have rearranged for Monday. After the awful GP appointment I am very apprehensive about going but I have to do it. My appointment with the Chiropodist/ Podiatrist went well. She was very knowledgeable and said that my toenails were inclining which is symptomatic of Lupus? I looked it up when I got home and was shocked that she was right Who knew???? My toes are rigid from constant breaks. Sadly nothing can be done about them but where the others are gripping the skin is calloused and she sorted that out. She used a razor to slice down the sides of my toenails where they were cutting into my toes, buffed my heels and applied a soothing balm. Well worth the visit and she hopes that she can save my toenails so I have a new appointment for eight weeks time. Good luck at the dentist lovely I hope they sort the pain out for you xxx
HUGE LUCK cecily for Monday. Will think of you and just hope he's pleasant and had a good weekend himself. Im sure it makes a difference!!. π
I meant my foot is in a lot of pain not my tooth. Im lucky its only a checkup on mon and hopefully all will be ok. Im so sorry you couldnt go to your much needed appt and now have to wait till May. Thats a long time so shows the backlog of work doesnt it?. Awful being without your front tooth, i know what thats like and its no fun, doesnt help self esteem either.
Lovely your podiatry appt was so helpful. Your poor feet i don't know hhow you've been walking on toes like that. Thank goodness you can be treated regularly. Thats what ive done for mine and its wonderfully soothing having the massage with the creme at the end. Rather like reflexology i guess!. Have you ever tried it?.
Thanx for your lovely wishes cecily , hopefully ill have better news thiscnext fortnight. TAKE CARE lovely and sending lots of thoughts and prayers for mon being good. Xxππππ»π€ππππ·π€πππ
Thank you so much. It is a constant battle isnβt it? Always something hurting. This week for me the dreaded genital soresπThey do make me cry but thankfully seem to heal much quicker on the colchicine. I will report back on the Ortho appointment. How I wish it was my lovely old gent who is kind and helpful but he has retired apparently. I have never tried reflexology as I cannot stand my feet being touched but surprisingly the foot clinic lady was firm and didnβt tickle lol. Have a lovely weekend Misty xxx
Oh no cecily, thats miserable but im glad the colchicine helps them heal quicker. Its been a wonder drug for me too with chest pain. It stopped my frequent A&E visits which were soo stressful!!.
OMG, im the same with my feet too. I can't stand them being touched and thought i was strange. Is it a phobia i wonder. So lovely to find someone who feels the same.
Lots of LUCK for a nice new Orthapod. Its always a worry when we have to see someone new. So Tough when our trusted medics leave or retire!!.
Ill look out for your outcome post cecily. Have a lovely Sunday , hope the πis shining. Xxπ€πππππ€
Iβve been so busy running around in circles I somehow missed this Misty. But Iβm SO pleased to see it this evening after an exhausting day. It has definitely made me smile. One looks as though it is saying to the other, βPlease donβt eat garlic again if we have to be so close together for photo shoots!β π€£ They are smashing creatures and we are lucky enough to have some not too far from where we live (about a 4 mile walk there and back). Must go to see them again. Never been Alpaca walking but I bet it is a wonderful experience. Not so the continued pain in your foot! What a massive disappointment that must have been to get the appt for your injection cancelled. I hope you cope until it is done in April Misty. Thinking of you. π€π€£ππ¦ππ¦xx
