Cutie time again and i just had to share these two. Meet Myla and Jubilee, one of the first lambs born this year and specially named for the Queen's Jubilee. They are so cute aren't they?.
Its lovely seeing the π again this weekend so i hope the pic helps bring you smiles and thoughts of Spring. Specially as the news is so tough.
Hope your all as well as possible.

Lovely picture, wonderful name too, thanks for sharing π
Hi misty, beautiful picture, a really happy one , what a smile π₯°Hope you are keeping well , really pleased to hear you are getting your foot injection soon π₯³.
Thanx weathervane for your lovely message. So pleased you liked the pic.Do appreciate it when your really going thru it. Do hope your staying negative and your eldest son and husband are improving. You must be shattered.
Funnily enough just heard from one of my schoolfriends who isn't ill like us but her husband and son have covid at the mo and she's staying negative despite an obvious cold. She's going round with the disinfectant just like you.
Im still not great after 4th jab , its bringing out adrenal symptoms just like before. Im glad its mtx time at weekend to maybe improve. Took 8 weeks last time so hope with added dose it will settle quicker.
Just lovely seeing the sunπand our daffodil bulbs are out too. π€you stay negative weathervane and i hope you have a quieter week. XxπΌβ€ππ€β€π
Thanks misty for your kind thoughts π₯°My youngest son is out of isolation, but husband is still positive, they both been fine ππΌππΌππΌ. My oldest boy also has it now he is own flat , left him supplies yesterday. He is tired but feeling fine , he has his cats for company and doesnβt have to stay in-one room like the other 2 .
Sorry you react badly to the booster, I do think it is keeping us safe though and reduces symptoms.
Looks after yourself and take it easy for now β€οΈπ€π€π€π₯°
Thanx for beautiful daffodil pic weathervane. Cheers me no end, I love this time of year like you do I think?.
What a relief your husband is symptom less. One son recovered and hopefully your eldest will be ok. Much better for him not having to be in one room. That must be awful. I'm sure his cats will keep him busy, specially the kamikazi one. Is he better behaved now?.
Does he live close, good that it's near to keep an eye on him?.
You must be relieved weathervane for the moment.
The jabs have definitely made covid less of an illness now. I'm just one of those who flare after a vaccine, at least I know my immune system is working properly and it will get better given time.
Im glad you liked the daffodil I thought it was a lovely picture. My other son lives about 20 minutes from us , so not far . His cats have calmed down , he has them on a diet , on advice of vet . It difficult with2 as one is greedier than the other so is giving them smaller bowls through out the day and watching them eat when he can . He is feeling fine so far which is a relief.
I hope your flare settles soon as you have enough to deal with.
Another sunny day here . I have a box of wild flower seeds, im going to get my son to plant them next week, then π€π»π€π»π€π». I donβt do any gardening because of my back and hip π. Hopefully will have a show of colour if they work π₯°
Thanx weathervane for your lovely wishes. Weren't you waiting for an MRI for ypur back and hip? Its hard not being able to garden when you love it. Mum's had to give it up similarly but she's older than you. Those wild flower seeds sound lovely, pics please if they bloom.
Glad your son lives close and the cats have matured. Not easy though separating food etc.
This is definitely a favorite for me. Nothing like a sweet child and a spring lamb and the joy of innocence. You did an amazing job on this one to give us hope in troubling times. Thank you so much. Glad to hear you will be getting you injection soon. I see the podiatrist again on Monday. Still have the swelling, etc. so I have no idea what is going on and just getting better from a bladder infection. Never a dull moment.
Thank you dear pumpkin for your lovely message. Im so glad you loved and appreciated this week's pic. I did choose it specially as i do give them a lot of thought. Its wonderful to hear how right ive been.
Im so very sorry that your still suffering with your foot. Its been a long time and such a worry that its still swollen. Good luck for seeing the podiatrist on mon. Will keep π€that he's helpful and let me know how you get on.
UTI's are miserable so im sorry no respite for you. It can seem so neverending for us as we can have so many multiple problems.
Hello lovely dianne, thanks for your lovely messages which i will reply to soon. So glad you like the pic. Too right about little good news at the mo, so im really glad to be helping all our spirits.
So sorry about no sun, ill send some across as we've had a beautiful sunset tonight so hopefully more tomorrow. Mind you it is cold but seeing the πmakes such a difference.
Thank you for your lovely injection wishes, will be wonderful if i get a longer time. My leg pain is coming back but had such a good result from that so no reason why i don't.
I do hope you've banished those bugs and you have a better week yourself this week.
Thank you Helenπ, hopefully weβll have some sun tomorrow but yes it is cold π₯Ά but youβre right the sun does make all the difference. The cold is much better but Iβm still coughing, I hope itβs gone in the next two weeksπ€π¬
Take care, Catch up soon lovely π₯°ππ πΏ ππ·xx
Beautiful picture. So nice to see the joyous signs of spring. Really brightened my day. Glad to hear your injection isnβt far away. Xx π πΌ πΈ
Thanx ge for your lovely reply. So pleased you like the pic. We really need spring now don't we?. Any news about your rheumy appt?. Hope your all keeping safe and well. Have a good week. XxπΌβ€πΌππ€ππΌβ€π€
Spring canβt come quick enough! Not had any lying snow here but it has been bitterly cold these last few weeks. My GP was getting in touch with my rheumy but I have not heard anything. Wish they would hurry up as Iβm still suffering with severe pain in my back and hips. Have a cracking, grating painful neck too. Feels like I am falling apart π Apart from the pain I am well as are my family. Hope you are too. Xx πΈπΌπΈπΌπΈ
So sorry ge your suffering so much. You could chase the GP and see if they've been in touch with Rheumy. It's so miserable having that level of pain for a long time as I know. Don't suffer in silence.
Glad your all covid free as we are too and no snow. Xxππ·
I donβt know who is the cutest, Myla or Jubilee. They are both adorable and evidently think the same of each other! π€£ Thanks for the smile Misty - it has added to my lovely sunny day. ππ»ππ»Not long until your foot injection. Youβll be counting the hours now Iβm sure. Thanks for your lovely message Misty. Iβll reply very soon. My GP has referred me for a Gynae appt asap, so Iβm relieved about that but praying it doesnβt clash with our trip to Skye when weβve had to cancel twice already. ππ» Thanks again for the uplifting post. Take care. π€πXx
I'm glad spotty you've got a Gynae referral now. I thought she should and would. It could well clash with your trip couldn't it?. Nightmare our health can be. Thanx for the lovely wishes and glad you've got sun today. We're cloudy and cold. Had the sun yesterday!. No rush for a reply. Take care. Xxππ»πππ»πππ€π
Yes, I was relieved my GP decided on the referral herself without any prompting from me. ππ»ππ» Yes our health can be inconvenient canβt it, π just like hubbyβs open heart surgery fell on my birthday!π The lengths some men go to in order to avoid taking you out for dinner!π€£π€£ Sunny here again today (3 days in a row!!!!π³) so weβve enjoyed a leisurely walk. Still feeling drained so route marches are definitely out at present. π Another day closer to your foot injection Misty!ππ»ππ» Take care. π€πxxxx
Thats the most drastic excuse ive heard spotty to avoid a birthday meal. I hope it wasnt a special birthday and not nice wondering how it all was going during the day. guess you pretend its not your birthday and celebrate it when life permits. I guess the best present was having him back safely afterwards!.
Im very sorry you've got this added gynae worry spotty and hope your appt is soon. π€.
Foot injection really isnt long now , need the help badly as leg pain is coming back. Having those injections a month later luckily.
Well done for walking despite feeling so drained. Lovely you've had the sun for 3 days. We were cloudy and cold today. Thinking of you. Xxπβ€πβ€
Haha, yes it certainly was drastic.π€£ Luckily it wasnβt a special birthday and my friend Sue took me out for afternoon to take my mind off it. The hospital phoned just before we left to let me know he was doing well and was in ICU. A birthday Iβll never forget!Oh no, Iβm sorry the leg pain is starting up again. π« I hope it doesnβt get any worse until you can get the injections for that next month.ππ»
Hi Misty - what a super cute pic of Myla and Jubilee so nice that spring is here and the snow drops are out and the sun shinning - hope you are holding out ok for injection in your foot as you say not long now. Lots of love β€οΈ
Its lovely svfarmer that you liked the pic too. Glad you've been getting π too. It really helps that spring is coming.
Thanx for your lovely injection wishes. Im coping with foot thanx. Ive just had the 4th covid jab and its flaring my adrenal symptoms. Hopefully, π€it will settle soon as feel awful.
Hope your all keeping well. Have a good week. Keep safe. Xxπβ€ππ€β€πβ€
Gorgeous image Misty. Great news that you will have your foot injections soon. I have booked to see a chiropodist and podiatrist locally next week as I am developing hammertoes where I broke them so many times that they are rigid except on the tips. The sunshine was just lovely wasnt it? Xxx
Glad cecily you liked the pic. Its really good your going to see a podiatrist about your hammertoes. They must be painful. Ive developed them on other foot thanks to the inflammation, they're not painful but i do worry about the future with them.
How did you get on with the orthapod you were going to see?. Hope it wasn't cancelled or postponed.
Thanx for injection lovely wishes. Its really soon now luckily.
Yes mine dont hurt except when I have to squeeze them into shoes which is why I wear Birkenstocks 90% of the time. I had severely swollen glands last weekend and a temp of 39.4, toothache, earache, headache. I swear since November last year my nose hasnβt stopped running. I looked like a chipmunk and felt awful. LFT tests all negative but hardly any voice so I postponed the appointment and go in two weeks. Xxx
So sorry you've been so poorly cecily. Hope you feel better soon , its miserable being ill so much. Very wise to postpone that appt, you've got to be at your best having to face a tricky consultant. Also good not to spread bugs around. TAKE CARE. Xxπβ€ππ€πβ€π
Thank you lovely. At least I have an acknowledgement of my GP complaint now and hopefully the Orthopaedic Consultant will be kinder and constructive. Take care xxx
Oh that's good cecily. π€and π that the consultant is helpful. You certainly shouldnt get this fat shaming. Its apalling way to treat someone. Do let me know how you get on.Did you see Countryfile last night.?. They featured rural Wales as it was an item about the provision of funding for GP surgeries and lack of staff etc. I did think of you.
Hope you feel better this week and all the very best for Mr Orthapod. Xx
Oh I really hope so Misty. My previous Orthopaedic Consultant was such a gent. He told me walking with knees this bad must be excruciatingly painful so any exercise you do is to be commended. It honestly gave me such a boost and I was determined to get the weight off to have the operations. I lost seven stone. It took me two years but I did it. Then the six times being rejected as not well enough, steroid courses, depression, flares, falls and I have gained five of the seven stones. I just need a break to feel well enough and stable enough on my feet to exercise again and I can do it. Thank you for your kindness, it means so much . No I didnβt see Countryfile. I will see if I can get it on I Player xxx
Aww that's so sweet Misty π€ Innocence in a world full of such animosity right now. Thank you for your cutie pics πIt's been dreary damp cold here all through the week. Went out for bloods on weds..hubby got soaked n my fingers were freezing holding up my brolly βοΈ I've just invested in some extra warm mittens..they use them for skiing n such so I'm hoping they'll help me during our springtime!! πΉ Today though it's been showers n brief periods of sunshine. This is krazykat with her weather report!! π
Many thanx krazykat for your lovely weather forecast. It did make me π and im glad you liked the 'cutie pic'. Do hope weather is better for you this week, cold, wet and miserable is no fun for going out!!.
Hope your bloods are ok with the xtra mtx. Ive got mine this week, 1st one with the xtra dose. π€.
Ill be reducing the steroid soon. Will you?. π€for that too.
Thanx for your injection good wishes, really soon now thankfully.
You've brought the sunshine Misty π€It's a beautiful spring day here!! I've got some miniature daffs..I'll send you a pic of my pooch next to them..she's a tiny Jack Russel!! πΉI'm having bloods done every two weeks at the moment coz of the mtx increase. I've had two now n I've not heard anything so seems all is well. I'm gonna do one more n then go back to monthly bloods.
I've reduced the Pred couple of weeks ago n am now on 4.5mgs!! It was tricky but I've managed it. Sometimes that happens though doesn't it? I find that some reductions affect me more than others.
I'm sorry you've been feeling poorly after your fourth vaccine too lovely π€You rest up now you hear? You gotta be match fit for your injection.
Thanx so much krazykat for your good wishes , support and lovely pic of lily with the lovely daffs. She's gorgeous and i bet a great pal for you.
WELL DONE too for getting to 4.5mg steroids. The lower we go from 7.5mg really, the trickier it is so no mean feat and definitely it varies if and how our bodies react to each drop. Are you dropping dose monthly, nice and slow?.
Im starting the fortnightly bloods and im glad yours are going well and you'll be back to monthly soon. The time goes by quickly doesnt it and thats our lives?.
Im definitely resting for mon as went out yesterday for coffee and foot hated the walking. Its very painful so looking forward to injection greatly.
Do hope the sun π lasts this week for you. TAKE CARE too krazykat and a pat for lily. XxπΆβ€πΆπ€π
Lovely picture Misty - both look very happy and thinking 'who's this'? ππ΅οΈGlad to hear you foot injection is so soon now. xx π€πππ»xx
So pleased you liked it caracara. How are you?. I saw that awful pic of your rash!. Looked very painful. Hope your getting it checked because of the HCQ!.
I've just had my injection cancelled due to covid. I'm so disappointed as in a lot of pain with it. Another possible date is either 11/4 or 25/4.
Hi Misty, Have they just let you know today - when appt was on Monday..That is really disappointing. Praying that the pain eases up (and that appts are more available). Take care. Think you are due lots of extra treats now until you have your appt.
I have rheumy appt Tuesday and may restart HCQ after rash goes. Rheumy said could possibly be HCQ, but that if retry may not come back. Here's hoping..
Thursday, they rang to tell me Caracara. Thanx so much for your commiserations. They'll sort it out. Best of luck for Rheumy Appt on Tuesday. I will keep fingers crossed for you but glad he's on the case of the rash. Usually, its hcq that takes rashes away not cause them. I'm doing another 'cutie pic ' Mon so do let me know how you get on. Have a safe weekend.Xx
