I hope your all coping with the long waits for assessments and treatments and this damp, dingy weather. Soon be March with brighter, longer days. Already its improving.

Thank you weathervane for your lovely message and glad you liked the hedgehogs. I'm sorry your having a tough time with your skin. I saw your post and hope you don't wait too long for the further mole extraction and biopsy results. I haven't heard of the rare condition but do know from experience that once we have one auto-immune illness others can follow. I've added to my collection but i really do hope you get good news that you haven't.
Thank you for your lovely op wishes, its a month this week since the pre-op and i've heard nothing yet. Its really hard waiting now and there are more junior dr strikes this week so i doubt i'll hear anything.
Its really disappointing to still have osteoporosis after a lot of treatment and a goid diet. Haven't been able to exercise enough as had 5 years of feet problems. We can pay such a price thru no fault of our own!. Next month my gp will re-refer me to the osteoporosis service for further treatment. I had a 5 year treatment holiday after my last infusion which was obviously too long!!.
I'm going to commiserate with my nurse friend over ☕️this week. Not seen her for ages.
Hope you have a good week and an update will follow when i get a date. Take care. 🦔
Sorry I didn’t get back to , life has been a bit busy , my son is buying his first house and one of his cat was ill ( inflammation in bowel) , so he’s stressed and we are stressed for him . I think is cat will be ok , on antibiotics and a soft diet.
I hope you hear soon about your op especially as you have had your pre op assessment done weeks ago . I hope the mew treatment you receive for osteoporosis will not be too severe.
Take care and keep well - Ive started doing a jigsaw, hope it helps with stress 😘 🤗❤️xxxx
Thank you Weathervane for your lovely message. Sorry you've having a stressful time with your son's move and poorly cat. I do hope his house buying goes thru quickly. Trouble is everything is taking so much longer , making it very stressful. It should be an exciting time, buying your first home!!. I've known of quite a few cats who've been diagnosed with colitis. The treatment is just the same as for humans interesti ngly. Its awful having such a poorly cat so i hope he responds to the antibiotics and soft food. It's Expensive now going to the vets!.
I had a lovely catch up with my nurse friend whose always on my side!. Half term she said, only 1 lot of surgery was carried out, the cancer cases. They all had that week off!!. Now , we're at the end of another 5 day ju ior doctor's strike, sat-weds!!. Its a month now since the pre-op and i've heard nothing. Just delays on delays really!!. So jumpy for the phone, its very wearing.
I hope you got your dexa scan sorted out and your enjoying the jigsaw. Its nice to lose yourself , just having to concentrate on the pieces. Take Care and i'll be in touch when i hear something. 🤞for kitty and the move.
Misty they are so gorgeous thank you for posting ! I cried last Sunday as watched Nick Knowles making a garden and they said worst thing for hedgehogs was slug 🐌 pellets so I won’t be using those again ! Take care and I’ll keep the magic 🪄 wand to hand for any appointments you might be waiting for xx
Thank you lovely tiggy 🐝, for your great message. So glad you liked the prickly cuties and won't use slug pellets again. The power of education!. I will wave my 🪄 to you and the dermy doctor next week to lesson your awful skin flare and come up with answers for you. I was also pleased that you can stay on 5mg steroids if needed which could keep you better stable. I did used to find before MTX that if i had a particularly hot joint like your wrist , that it would cause an overall flare if left untreated and this i think is what has happened to you.
Thank you so much for waving 🪄 yours in my direction. I really hope it makes a difference soon and i'm sure it will. Do hope you feel better soon. Lots of love to you and 🐈 Prince Tiggy. Xx🦔💕🦔💕🦔
Hi Misty, Love the hedgehogs. Sorry you are still in limbo for op dates. Also, sorry about the osteoporosis. I have been dealing with it for 25 years and the meds did not work. Initially, I had barely had any steroids, but lupus. Then tested for VIt. D and hyperparathyroidism, also culprits. Have had many broken bones although some I am not sure were from it. I wa getting ready to finally try Prolia when the crazy hallucinations started and the doctor doesn't want to add something else without answers. So far no answers yet from the gastrodoctor and neurologist.
Thank you Pumpkin for your lovely message. I'm sorry your still waiting for answers from the gastro and neuro doctor's. Is it test results because they can be very delayed?. I do hope that there is an answer for you and treatment plan soon. Its so very hard waiting. I'm sorry too, you've been put thru the mill re osteoporosis for a long time. Its worrying that the treatment hasn't worked after having a 5 year treatment holiday!. Prior to that i'd had several infusions of Zolendronate!. Its wonderful talking to someone in the same boat. Its always been somethjng i dreaded having , as got added risk factors like colitis, adrenal insufficiency and early menopause. I think broken bones was our first conversation as you'd broken your foot and i had too years previously.
Now its back to more treatment, just hope it works this time.
Thank you as ever for your healing thoughtwaves and i send mine for your results. Take Care. Xx🦔💕🦔💐💕🦔💕
Thank you honeybug for your lovely message. I 'm sorry we've also got osteoporosis in common. I hope your treatment for it did help and your close friend's health has improved. So glad you liked the cuties, i will update with another when i get an op date. TAKE CARE yourself Ej. Xx🦔💕🤞💕🦔🌺🦋🪻
