Hello everyoneJust thought i'd show you these three cutie sets of triplet lambs born on a farm near Swindon this week. Hopefully they will give you all a boost as they are the first ones this year and a wonderful sign that Spring is coming.

Hope your starting to see the first shoots in your gardens or bulbs coming thru as we are. ?.

Hope your all as well as can be, coping with waiting for appt's etc and having a relaxing weekend.

MistyX

P.s, had my pre-op assessment this week and passed initial tests well. May have to see anaethetist about my drugs but could get gallbladder op date very soon now. Looks like foot could be later on. I'm glad as in so much biliary pain. Real progress now. Seeing mr gastro surgeon on monday!. ๐Ÿคž.

Also awaiting dexa scan results as had the scan. Bit apprehensive as not been able to walk much. ๐Ÿคž

Thank you all for your wonderful support whilst i've been waiting. I couldn't have managed without you. Special friends I will reply to your mesdages this week after monday and the pain improves. Take Care. Xx

Awwwwwwwโ€ฆsimply adorable โฃ๏ธ Thanks so much lovely ๐Ÿฅฐ. Needed this pick me up as Iโ€™ve had multiple friends pass plus one special friend whoโ€™s been through 5 surgeries so far for life threatening sepsis and heโ€™s still very bad. Middle son of dear dear friends and heโ€™s married with young children. Sooo very sad.

These sweet little lambikins are a great feeling of warm fuzzies.

I just said a special prayer for you love about your GI surgery and to expedite your long awaited foot surgery.

Iโ€™m sooooo sorry youโ€™ve had to endure this suffering for so long (and everyone else too) and keeping you close to my heart in my thoughts and always my prayers hun.

Hugs and kisses and gentle well soon wishes Misty 14.

I'm so glad you loved the lambs as winter can be so harsh for us all. I thought it might give us a good boost and i'm thrilled it has.

TAKE CARE dearest honeybug and i'll keep my ๐Ÿคžfor your special friends. Big hug. Xx๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’๐Ÿคž๐Ÿ™โค๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿคž๐Ÿ€๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿฅฐ

I loved how clever Findlay was with his new toys cecily. They need stimulating all the time don't they which is hard. I find music also is a good distraction and relaxing. Hope you've managed some relaxation this weekend. Not easy when we're waiting for such important op dates. I hope and pray cecily you get yours soon. Will be lovely for us both to be better for Spring /summer.

TAKE CARE and all the very best. Xx๐Ÿคž๐Ÿ€

Oh I know I am so proud of him. The Behaviourist says I am not supped to say anything when he achieves to make it normalised but I was literally bouncing up and down whooping. Just two weeks ago he would have been frightened of it bless him. I really hope after next week we can start to work on the reactivebess on lead. We have a zoom session with the Behaviourist to talk us through it.

Despite my cooker still being out of order waiting for a new control panel I made pizza and a coconut cake so I was pleased. I will be so glad when my lovely red cooker is sorted though. The hoover wonโ€™t charge now and going on the website I need a new battery. I only bought it two years ago. Why does nothing last these days ?

Hopefully next week will bring lighter days and good news fir us both lovely xxx

Do hope you had a good chat with Finlay's behaviourist and you got your cooker sorted out. Its a scandal how batteries don't last, i wouldn't want to try an electric car would you?. Hope you've got an op date. I haven't yet!. Thinking of you lovely. Xx๐Ÿ•๐Ÿ’•

Yes I did have a good chat with her. I do think she us unrealistic though, she tells us he us too stressed to be taken out in a lead where there are any dogs..I mean you just cannot guarantee that for goodness sake. I had news today my op is Thursday. I have to be on the ward at 7am. I cannot tell you what a relief it is. I have been in limbo for two weeks waiting for that call, jumping each time the phone has gone. Now I can relax and hopefully I will sleep tonight. I really hope you have a date very soon xxx

I'm so pleased cecily that your op is Thursday!. Hopefully you will just be done before another Junior Doctor's strike!!. It's also less time to have to think about it. I'm so jumpy with the phone and it's so wearing as you were. Hopefully I will hear soon.

I agree about taking Finlay on walks with no other dogs is very unrealistic!!. I'm sorry he is so stressed and hope he grows out of it.

All the very best cecily on Thursday and I'll be thinking of you lovely. You'll be so glad to have it done and be recovering. Catch up later when we can. HUGE LUCK. Xx ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘Œ Xx

Thank you so much for all your kindness and support. It really does mean so much. I am hoping that when they get it out and break my nose to adjust my badly deviated septum m the constant gunk down my throat will stop. My ribs are so painful from constant coughing

I just hope that you hear soon lovely. You have been waiting so much longer than me and I know what an anxious tine it is every time the phone rings. Lots of live xxx

oh Misty how cute these little triplet lambs are. Yes like you we are seeing the first shoots in the garden- roll on spring .

Fingers crossed for you ๐Ÿคž for your up and coming appointment. I can so relate to the pain you are going through as I was admitted to hospital for 10 days in December as I had inflammation of the gallbladder and infection in lining of small intestine and to top it sepsis , I donโ€™t do things my half but anyway the pain was unbelievable so sending big hugs to you ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ’•

Thank you svfarmer for your lovely message and i'm so pleased you loved the lambs and are getting the first signs of Spring too. I love this time of year.

I hope your feeling much better now after your awful ordeal before christmas. You must have been in agony with all those serious problems!!.

I had a very helpful appointment yesterday with my gastro surgeon who was very positive about outcome of gallbladder op. Should be keyhole which is far better for recovery. He's explained it all including the biliary condition i've got being rare. Hadn't realised that!.

I may have another problem , inflammation of the bile ducts which causes upper abdo pain and explains why its been so severe.

Just need an op date to hang onto as feel so poorly now. ๐Ÿคž its soon. I hope you continue to improve svfarmer, its never quick enough is it?. Thanx so much for all your support and i'll update when i get a date. Xx๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿคž๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿคž๐ŸŒท๐Ÿคž๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ‘

Hi misty , the new born lambs are so adorable, we are going out to see my husbands family next weekend and will be driving through the Sperrins , Im hoping to see some lambs in the fields. I saw some yellow crocuses out yesterday and the daffodils will soon be out , I love the first signs of spring ๐Ÿฅฐ

I hope you hear about your op soon, not pleasant but necessary, I will be thinking about you ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ. I have to ask about a dexa scan as Anastrozole can cause problems with bone density, I would have thought oncology would have organised it so will chase it myself.

Take care and keep well until you get the operation xxxxโค๏ธ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿค— ๐Ÿ’๐ŸŒผ๐ŸŒธ

Thank you weathervane for your lovely message. I'm glad these lovely lambs have given you a prelude for seeing them next weekend at your husband's family farm. I'm sure they will love seeing him so much better now. Hope its less chilly for you. I don't know if it is different in Ireland but here its the gp who makes a referral for a dexa scan. Mine did it for me. You might like to make enquiries?. Let me know how you get on.

Have a lovely time away and yes i love spotting Spring signs too. I will do an update when i get an op date. ๐Ÿคžit will be soon. Xx๐Ÿคž๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿคž๐Ÿ€๐Ÿคž๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿคž๐Ÿ€๐Ÿคž๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿคž๐Ÿ€

Loved the darling lambs! Also realy glad to hear you are getting closer to the gallbladder surgery and that the pre-op procedures are going well. I will finish my initial neurology tests this week and met with my new gastro doctor. Have had some tests from him and probably will have to go through some more. He is very knowledgable and listened to everything which is encouraging. I hope this year is a good one for all of us.

Lots of healing hugs.

Thank you pumpkin for your lovely message , unwavering support and good wishes. ๐Ÿคžfor the neurology tests to show something so you get the help you desperately need. Thats all we ask really isn't it?. I'm really pleased too you've got a nice gastro doctor and being well looked adter by him. You'd suffered too long in that area too. Good luck for any further tests. Again i hope it will lead to better treatment.

I saw my gastro surgeon yesterday and he was much more positive about the gallbladder op. Thinks it will be keyhole which is a great help and benefit me ๐Ÿคž.

He's explained the biliary condition i have is rare which i didn't realise. We always seem to be with these immune illnesses.!.

I may also have inflammation of the bile ducts which would explain why this abdo pain is so severe. We shall see and i hope i get a date soon for either op. ๐Ÿคž

I may have to come off mtx for the op to aid wound healing but don't know yet. I'm listening for the phone now as may have to see the anaethetist.

I really do feel dearest pumpkin that 2024 is going to be our year with better health. So glad you loved the lambs. Keeping my ๐Ÿคžfor you.sending lots of healing thoughtwaves. Xx๐Ÿคž๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿคž๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿคž๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿคž๐Ÿ’•

Hi Kay, I hope you don't mind me reaching out to you. Misty said you know a lot about dyautonomia. I have lots of quesstions, but just a few for the moment. I started having very vivid and unusaul hallucinations over a year ago so am seeing a new neurologist. So far no answers about that, but based on alll my issues including peripheral neuropathy, lupus, blood pressues issues, digestive issues, hyperparathyroidism, a-fib and periventrical arrythmia, etc. , She has been doing a lot of tesst. I have POTS, dysautonomia and she is looking to see if it is from lupus or more. I forgot to say, she is an autoimmune neurologist. She also feels the I have small fiber neuropathy.

Question - I had a sleep study for the hallucinations. Instead, I have low oxygen - 88% and have to have another study. Is that possible from the nervous system not functioning as well? I had no idea and the sleep doctor was surprised as well.

Question - The neurologist also thinks my chronic diarrhea maybe also related. She has referred me to a gastroenterologist who is doing his testing.

If you can, any information you can share would be much appreciated.

Also, have you heard anything about Misty and her surgery? I hope she is doing all right.

Healing hugs.

Hi Pumpkin,

Good to hear from you. You have a lot going on and, clearly, your medical team is on the ball. The one thing I can tell you is, from what my rheumatologist told me at my last visit, they can never know if dysautonomia is a result of our autoimmune disease. That does not mean they donโ€™t make assumptions and use immunosuppressants or IVIG if necessary, simply that they canโ€™t biopsy the nerves and know for sure.

No one is going to deny that your automatic nerves are likely affected by your lupus. They will help you every way possible with life style changes and medications. Some people respond well to beta blockers or drugs that raise standing blood pressure.

Our GI systems are definitely affected too. They will have to intervene with whatever can target your individual symptoms. With the diarrhea - used to be major issue with me - dietary changes and increasing soluble fibre - can really help. Go to the Heather IBS site. Her recommendations were life changing for me. GI doctor was impressed with how it helped. Still take the acacia fiber with herbal tea.

Dysautonomia affects people in many ways. Having that system out of whack is not easy.

Here to help anyway possible.

Kay

Pumpkin2009 profile image
Pumpkin2009 in reply to KayHimm

Kay, Thank you so much for responding so quickly. I have been on the maximum of atenonol from my arythmias which is a beta blocker for years. The neurologist wanted to at another or clonidine, but I am on so much. I am waiting until I have the scopes. Rheumatology is not weighing in on any of this. For now the neurologist and gastroenterologist are conferring. Weight loss has been a concerning issue as well although more stable at the moment. I will check out the Heather IBS site. Thank you again.

Healing hugs.

KayHimm profile image
KayHimm in reply to Pumpkin2009

Pumpkin,

I am not surprised your rheumatologist is not weighing in. Dysautonomia is something they know to look for in their patients but would refer to neurologists on. Your rheumatologist might be involved if they were considering IVIG or something. In the US IVIG is not approved for dysautonomia even if it is of presumed autoimmune cause. But they will get it if someone is so affected they canโ€™t get out of a wheelchair without blood pressure severely dropping.

Very glad your neurologist and gastroenterologist are working together.

If you have heat sensitivity, I will give you tips.

๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ˜˜

KayHimm profile image
KayHimm in reply to Pumpkin2009

Sorry, Pumpkin, I didnโ€™t answer your questions. That is a good thing they figured out you have low oxygen. Wow - you have to cope with a lot. The brain is seems so sensitive. Way over my head but it does sort of make sense that you could hallucinate with low oxygen. You probably have a pretty hyper neuro chemistry like me. I wรฎll see if there is anything written about it.

Hang in there. Itโ€™s a lot they have to juggle with you.

XxK

Thank you, Kay. My neurologist upon meeting me say the say thing. I am very fortunate to have found her. She really listens and is very conscientious. Definitely a breath of fresh air in the medical field.
