Hello everyone

After such a lovely response to those labrador pups i just couldnt resist showing you Cheesecake and all her pups. Originally , the vet thought she was having 6-7 but instead 10 popped out!. There must be something in the water!!. Haha!. The're all doing well in Lincoln. Another very busy mum!.

With all this stormy weather and variant news i hope this makes you smile. ๐Ÿ˜€.

Keep well and safe as possible everyone.

MistyX

P.s. ive just been diagnosed with adrenal insufficiency and am awaiting a further blood test to determine treatment. Not feeling the best but luckily foot pain is still milder. X

Iโ€™m sorry your not feeling too good. I hope you wonโ€™t have to wait too long before you get treatment that will help you. Good that your foot pain isnโ€™t so bad. Hopefully it will get better or not get any worse.

Thanx so much ge for your lovely message and glad you liked pupsx2.

Im going to ring Rheumatology tomorrow to chase this second set of bloods that need doing. Ive just got so many symptoms of this adrenal condition that i need it doing before xmas to get the right treatment in time. Ive had such a lousy weekend with it!.

Its taking my mind off my foot anyway. ๐Ÿ˜€. ๐Ÿคžit stays at this milder level. It could.

Hope you have a happy, safe week. This new variant is a worry for us. Xx๐Ÿถโค๐Ÿถ

Definitely dianne which is why i posted despite feeling so rotten. Ill keep it up too during the winter at least. So pleased you liked this one.

They ought to do a similar kind of news story at the end of each days news program as it is so grim at the mo.

Im sorry my Whatsapp message will be delayed as ive got to phone the hospital tomorrow to chase up this second blood test. Ive got to have it before xmas as need help now with the condition.

I just wanted to say your spot on re the butrans patch. I have used it and ive looked on the leaflet and you can't chop them. Presumably you'll be trying the lowest dose 5mcg's which is a smaller patch? . It is a worry when we have such sensotivities like you have!. If it irritates your skin another brand is better called Dr Reddy's. I had to change to this one and skin is much better.

Only side effect i get is constipation but that might be a relief for you!.

I do hope it helps and you can take it ok. No fun being in pain.I also use lidocaine patches and you can chop those. There for nerve pain though.

I do hope your having a lovely weekend and you enjoyed Strictly. Im seeing it this aft.

I will message when i can. Have a safe, happy week. Xx๐Ÿถโค๐Ÿถ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿถโค๐Ÿถ๐Ÿคž

Thanks Helen, thereโ€™s no rush to message whether on WhatsApp or messenger so donโ€™t you worry, you just get yourself sorted, Iโ€™m just sorry youโ€™re having to chase up again, this seems to be our life doesnโ€™t it, itโ€™s a full time job trying to feel well, I donโ€™t think medics realise how exhausting it is ๐Ÿ˜ข!Thanks for the advice re morphine patches, I do remember now you having irritation from them, yes mines the 5mg so a low dose, might also be useful for after my op!

I hope you have some luck getting your second blood test, fingers crossed for you๐Ÿคž.

Yep we do need more good news and youโ€™re right wouldnโ€™t that be good to end the news on a happy note every nightโ€ฆ sending hugs and happy thoughts your way lovely. ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ•๐Ÿฟ๐Ÿฆ”xxxx

We tried a short walk late morning but the snow must have fallen on top of ice so it was quite slippy and with my balance I was performing moves that Strictly would have been proud of! ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ I was pleased to get back to the apartment in one piece and have stayed here ever since relaxing and snoozing. Oh well, it is Sunday after all. ๐Ÿ˜‰Iโ€™m sorry to hear youโ€™ve felt awful this weekend Misty so good idea to phone Rheumy tomorrow to chase the 2nd blood test. Iโ€™ve felt rotten too but think it is one of my meditcations I take both morning and night because I feel nauseous shortly after taking it and a headache starts up. So I take Gaviscon and paracetamol to counteract it. Iโ€™ll be asking for a phone appt with my GP as soon as we get home. My hiatus hernia is settled at present but it is because of it that I have liquid Gaviscon on prescription. Good luck for tomorrow Misty. Let me know how you get on. I hope you enjoyed the Strictly results tonight. I was sorry to see Tilly go. AJ and Reece have been my favourite dancers for ages so I was relieved to see Reece didnโ€™t go. Enjoy your evening Misty. ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ˜˜x

Ive just phoned Rheumatology who will find out whats happening about this test. I really do feel poorly and its the only way to get the right treatment. These things are easily forgotten!!. ๐Ÿคž i hear soon.

Im relieved about my foot and just got podiatry appt in post todsy for follow up before xmas. Hope it stays this mild pain i can cope with it!. ๐Ÿคž

Wasnt Strictly close?. Who is voting for Dan?. Its ridiculous!. Sorry Tilly went and relieved for Rose and Gio. That was a close call though. Can't wait for sat and john and johannes!!. What a comp!.

The nightmare dentist was caught in traffic so arrived 30 minutes late with a face like thunder. Her manner is simply appalling. As I sat down in the chair she barked open your mouth. She said this will be tiring but you must keep your mouth open, if you donโ€™t we start again. She then pulled my mouth wider using my nose ๐Ÿ˜ฑ. At one point she was leaning on my arm. I stubbornly refused to complain. The dental nurse kept asking if I was ok. When she was finished she said I have done my best but donโ€™t eat on it understand? What she had done was to build up a white filling around the spike. In fairness she has done a good job of it but it feels as if it might shatter at any moment. I am eating by shoving food in the corner of my mouth and not chewing with my front teeth. I am not even getting my impressions done until mid February but at least it will not be her as they have appointed a new dentist hoorah.I hope your Rheumatologist gets back quickly and great news that you have a podiatry appointment before Christmas.

Re Strictly I was livid with the judges. For once I agreed with Craig. What on earth were they thinking giving Dan 8 and 9?.? Personally I thought his Rhumba was painful. He kept stopping and looked down throughout. I thought this time he is out then when I saw the scores I said to Neil it will be Rhys and Tilly in the dance off and I was right. So so unfair. If he gets to the dance off then he is gone but sadly I think he wonโ€™t and the thought of him in the final makes me angry. For me AJ, John and Rose should be in the final. Sadly the public always vote for personalities. Remember John Sergeant? He was just abysmal and in the end left voluntarily because he could see decent dancers being eliminated. I donโ€™t think Dan will be as magnanimous. Wasnโ€™t JoJo and Johns Argentine Tango amazing? Stay safe and warm lovely xxx

These adrenal glands ๐Ÿ˜ฉ I had something called conns syndrome which is very rare , itโ€™s a benign tumour on my adrenal gland, it took literally months and months to find out what was wrong with me and had so many different tests, I ended up having my left adrenal gland removed altogether with no further problems - I can imagine your feeling quite unwell and hope that you can get in for a blood test quickly xxx

Hi Misty, Sorry to hear about the adrenal problem, but hope the sooner they treat it, you will feel better. Glad the foot is still a bit better after the shot. I don't know if you read my posts, but after 12 days, the x-ray showed a fracture. The dr. had no idea why it didn't show up initially. As long as I stay off of the foot, I can manage. Otherwise it feels really weird and not happy. The main goal is that it heals correctly. Love all the pups. Can't imagine being the worn out mom.

Healing hugs.

Hello pumpkin, thanx so much for your lovely message. I didnt see your post in the week.So sorry you have a fracture on your foot. No wonder it wasnt happy. I fractured my feet a few years ago now which was the start of all my foot problems. I did learn that they don't always show up immediately in the feet. What happened to you , happened to me if that makes you feel any better?. Each new xray added a new fracture!. Horrid it was!.

How are you walking on it?. Are you in a special boot or shoe?.

Im relieved my foot is still milder pain, helped by staying home more. ๐Ÿคžit stays that way!.

Im ringing rheumy dept tomorrow to get this next special blood test. I don't want to be stuck for xmas feeling like this!!.

Sending lots of healing hugs to you dear pumpkin and many thanx again for all your support. Keep well and safe. Xx๐Ÿถโค

Ive phoned the hospital today and rheumatology will find out if the registrar has made any arrangements for me to have this test. I did say i was increasingly unwell. ๐Ÿคži hear something soon.

Lovely pic Misty ๐Ÿค—too many babies!! Imagine when those pups are all running around..it'll be pandemonium for sure ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿ˜นCan I ask what your symptoms are for adrenal insufficiency? Like u I've been on pred for a few years now n I'm happy to say that I've managed to reduce to 5mgs now!! It was originally a cock up at the pharmacy n they gave me 5mg instead of the 2.5mgs I'd requested!! ๐Ÿ˜คAnyway to save cutting them in half I decided to bite the bullet n reduce to 5..so all in all it was a good thing!! ๐Ÿ˜นI've changed pharmacy now though coz the one I was using were making far too many mistakes. My pharmacy bag had become some kind of mystery package!! They gave me Alendronic acid instead of Amlodipine..I mean come on..they're two totally different medications!! ๐Ÿ™†๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿคท

I'm going for another blood test tomorrow n we've had snow here so it's gonna be first time out in wheelchair in the snow unless it melts today. No there's still no car..just to save u asking!! ๐Ÿ˜น

So I was thinking to avoid Xmas I'm gonna have tomorrow's blood test n then book for three weeks instead of four for the next one. Talking to hubby about my plans n I remembered that I have a dermy appt in Dec sometime so checked the letter and it's on the 9th December!! I'd better get myself prepped..it's been so long since I've had any appts..I'm a bit out of practice!! ๐Ÿ˜น

Hope you get your blood test sorted out today..and I hope that your foot doesn't worsen ๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿ˜ฝ๐Ÿ˜ฝxx

Sorry krazykat for my delay in replying, those pups cause a lot of lovely messages!.

Oh my goodness how did you get on going to your blood test with all the snow. I've seen the pics of the winter wonderland up north. Still no car, just can't believe it Kat!!. It's CRAZY!!. You must wonder if you will ever get it?!!.

We're both on 5 mg steroids now!. Fab that a mistake made you do it and you've been successful!. It's regarded as a safer dose. Your chemist though sounds like a Lloyds as I had to move after similar mistakes. Not good at all!.

I got to 4.5mg and felt apalling so when I went to Rheumy review it was put back up to 5mg luckily and I felt better quickly. My Rheumy dept have been smart picking this adrenal problem up krazykat. Symptoms are like a lot of illnesses which make it difficult.

Joint pain, diorhea, abdo pain, headache, dizziness, feeling faint on standing, feeling unwell. I had a cortisol blood test that picked it up straightaway. If it's low it's this if it's high then it's Cushings. Both quite rare illnesses I gather.

Good luck with your Dermy appt. not long ago it seemed like a long way off didn't it and now it's soon!!. They should be pleased at your reduction too!.

I've phoned the hospital about getting the second part of my bloods so I hope to hear soon.

TAKE CARE in the snow, hope it's gone now and be SAFE. Xx

Do you have adrenal insufficiency as you sound very knowledgable about it or maybe a family member?.

This is why im chasing my hospital for the second part of the test as i feel so unwell and don't want a crisis!. Im hoping to hear something soon๐Ÿคž.

As luck would have it i was recommended to get a medicalert bracelet by the Rheumy dept because of steroids a few years ago. Ive always struggled to reduce them. They've been so smart picking this up.

Hi misty14๐Ÿ’•,

I suspected I might have adrenal insufficiency over a year ago while I was trying to figure out what was wrong with me, so I did a lot of research and watched YouTube videos about it. I ended up not having this health issue but discovered I have Gravesโ€™ disease, fibromyalgia, likely Sjogrens too.

Your bracelet sound lovely โ˜บ๏ธ!!

Thank you tangerine for your lovely message and good wishes.

Funnily enough like you i wondered if id got it as symptoms seemed to match and i did research a few years ago , it was still a shock to be positive for it.I think Graves disease is still quite rare like Addison's?.

Can't we collect different AI illnesses.?. Ive got others like you.

I do hope you are being treated and you feel better since your Graves Diagnosis!.

Ive just heard from my hospital that ive been referred to endocrinology for this 2nd test. Don't know how long it could be so im going to ring them tomorrow to see. I felt really poorly this am.

Dear misty14โค๏ธ,

Thank you for your lovely message. Gravesโ€™ disease is indeed more rare than Hashimotoโ€™s disease thyroid wise. I had been diagnosed with Hashimotoโ€™s in 2008 but then my thyroid decided to switch diseases because why make things simple ๐Ÿ˜…. I didnโ€™t even know I had it, I had become used to my trunk feeling like it was on fire at night ๐Ÿ˜‚. It was a big surprise and just on time for my first endocrinologist appointment!

I believe Addison is rare too, itโ€™s good you got diagnosed so you can get the right treatments. My Graves is now in remission after a year of treatment. I hope it lasts a long time! The medication had made me gain weight.

I agree can we have the most boring non-chronic and easy to diagnose health conditions?

Since adrenal insufficiency is a serious matter I donโ€™t think you will have to wait very long for endocrinologist appointment.

I am very sorry you are not feeling well. I can only imagine and I give you my deepest sympathy ๐Ÿ’. They should already be treating you.

Have a lovely and safe day โค๏ธ๐Ÿ•๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿถ
