We have one living under our shed. We called him Ferdy and we love seeing him pottering about the garden. My daughter cried with joy the first time we saw him - it was the first hedgehog she’d seen in real life 💕
That's wonderful haubrey, is he an adult or baby?. They're really good for our gardens as they Hoover up all the slugs/snails etc.
Our neighbour has hers living under her shed too. Perfect for them. Ferdy may come back each year to see you both. Ours returned to our garden after hibernation!. Do you feed him?.
It's wonderful the joy we're getting appreciating wildlife more in this pandemic!. Thank you for your reply and keep well and safe. Xx
We are weathervane and this is the upside of the pandemic. Its wildlife's gain and ours. Have just heard from endoscopy dept. They hope to be able to book me in mid sept after sorting the backlog. Fingers crossed I hear but if I don't i shall ring again.
Have a good weekend and keep as well as possible. Hope you hear soon, its hard suffering isn't it? Xx
That’s positive news about your appointment , 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻they stick by that . You were so right to phone them 😀. Have a lovely weekend , looks like the weather will be good ☀️🌤
Lovely hearing from you Cutty. Do hope your improving after your injection.
It gave us such a thrill to see another baby hedgehog this year!. It's wonderful we're doing our bit to keep them going and it's so satisfying especially as their numbers are so low.
It's a shame you couldn't have one in your garden but they're not very compatible with dogs!.
Take care and keep as well and safe as you can. Xx😊💕😊
It is so lovely to see the wee hedgehog and I’m really sorry we don’t see them here. We don’t have a dog but foxes, badgers and the neighbours cats do frequent our garden so perhaps they have kept them away? So pleased they are visiting you Misty and they are lucky you are looking after them so well. They know when they are onto a good thing! 😉😆
