Soooooo cute. I am always amazed how great is the creation. A human heart is larger but this little thing has one too, a tiny tiny heart. How could one not admire? Beautiful photo. Thank you Cecily. xx

This little Quoll is absolutely adorable, Iโ€™ve never heard of it before - how are you Cecily - are you still in a lot of pain with your knee? Xx

No I hadnโ€™t heard of one either but had to share as he is just so beautiful. I am trying to concentrate on beautiful things as I am truly a miserable wretch. My leg is so painful, like a nerve type pain constantly and electric shock type pain when I stand or walk .I am throwing my weight onto the other leg and hip so everything hurts now gggrr. Thanks for asking. I hope that you are doing as well as you can?xxx

Iโ€™m not surprised your miserable, I slipped a disc in my back years ago and had sciatica pain right down my leg, it was excruciating ๐Ÿ˜ฃ so I so sympathise with you - and how are Brodie and Dylan ? Xx

CecilyParsley profile image
CecilyParsleyโ€ข in reply tosvfarmer

Yes it does feel like sciatic pain right up into my groin and down into my heel. Brodie is doing well, the vet re measured the lump on his testicle and it had not grown so feels it is a fatty skin tag or mole which is great.Dylanโ€™s growth on his foot was a benign tumour which is excellent but he continues to keep licking despite everything we have tried to stop him. We wash his paws after his walks, use paw balm twice a week, use a dermatological mousse on his paws at night. I checked him today and he has a real oozy bald spot on his back paw. We bathed it in diluted Hibiscrub and he now has his soft collar on. We have tried medication, creams, getting his anal glands squeezed, changing his food. Nothing works. They are going to the groomers tomorrow and I have advised her to use a muzzle when she does his feet . He doesnโ€™t ever bite but he growls and mouths you when you touch them because obviously he is sore bless him. Xxx

Am glad the boys are doing well although poor Dylan with his sore foot, hope it heals soon, they will be looking gorgeous and smelling gorgeous tomorrow when back from the groomers, big ๐Ÿค— hugs to you xx

Oh that is a long time ๐Ÿ˜ข Will have to find a good series of books or a box set to binge watch. Iโ€™d be lost without my Kindle and Netflix. Iโ€™m doing ok. Been having a problem with pain in my neck. Canโ€™t turn it easily or look up. GP sent me a text with a link to exercises. If itโ€™s no better in ten days Iโ€™ve to get back in touch. Hope you donโ€™t get too bored. Xx

Oh I am sorry. Neck pain is horrid. My Chiropractor used to crack my neck and jaw making my hubby nearly faint but afterwards it felt so good. I really hope your exercises work for you. I watched Stowaway last night on Netflix. Very good film. I would be lost without Netflix and Now. Now is my favourite as it has all the series I love Greys Anatomy which is my all time favourite, The Blacklist, Magnum PI, The Rookie, Those That Kill, The Coroner, Station19, Blue Bloods. I literally have square eyes these days ๐Ÿค“ xxx

I love Blue Bloods. That has to be my all time favourite. Havenโ€™t watched Stowaway so will put it on my last. Have you seen Midnight Sky on Netflix? Thought it was a really good film. Think everyone has developed square eyes this last year. Do try to alternate watching tv with reading though. Tv tonight though as Call The Midwife is on! Xx

Yes I love Call the Midwife and Line of Duty too. My concentration is not good enough to read very much sadly. I used to be a prolific reader. We gave over 700 books to the Charity shop and have 23 packing boxes full in the loft as well as a six foot bookcase full and of course my hundreds of cookery books . Currently I am reading Noel Fitzpatrick book which at least I can pick up and put down without having to re read the chapters again . I havenโ€™t seen Midnight Sky but I will look for it tonight thank you xxx

I donated masses of books to the charity shop too. Find it hard to hold a book and turn pages. That is why I love my Kindle. Space saving too as over 1000 books on it but it takes up less space than one! Xx

Neil loves his Kindle because he can get the print enlarged. He also listens to the audio books. Call the Midwife was so poignant tonight I cried buckets. Just before I watched Lucy the human chimp and cried too. Then Call of Duty I cried again. There is no hope for me lol xxx

Learn something new everyday! A quoll? I thought it was chital (spotted deer) at first glance because I couldnโ€™t see the head until I enlarged the photo. Then I thought it was much to small to be a baby deer. Looks like a chital possum. Very interesting!

Thanks for sharing. โค๏ธxx

Very cute Cecily. ๐Ÿ˜˜ What a lovely post.๐Ÿ˜ Quolls are carnivorous marsupials native to Australia and New Guinea and are mainly nocturnal. They are very attractive but can be quite aggressive if untamed. Iโ€™ve heard they make good pets if reared from young like the one in your photos, but if you kept chickens it would have to be trained to leave them alone as wild quoll kill chickens for food. Thanks for the memories Cecily. ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ˜˜xx
