This week's pic is of very special cocker spaniel puppies born at the West Midlands Police Dog Training Centre. They will all train to work with the force.
I thought you might find this interesting as well as liking these adorable pups as i do.
I hope you all enjoy this sunny weather at last but take care with it too.
MistyX

I love these dogs they are so amazing!!! There was a sniffer dog on this morning who sniffed casks and could detect impurities which would effect the whiskey if they were used . The wee dog was so excited when it was doing its job 🥰
So glad to hear you are recovering so well misty, you are amazing, worth the long wait for the op 🙏🏼🤗🤗😀🥰
Thank you so much weathervane, so pleased you liked this weeks pic. They are amazing dogs and its wonderful to think of the different detecting roles those puppies could go to. Drug detection, customs, sniffing out illnesses even and your whiskey one. I hope they don't get drunk on it!. Haha!. Its incredible work. Do you watch 'Paul OGrady's for the love of dogs?. Ive learnt a lot from that. Its a great program how they re-home so many dogs!.
I do hope your recovering from your big weeks and having a good bank hol. Lovely seeing the sun at last.
I do hope you don't have to wait too long for your op. Ive so wished mine had been done a long time ago!.
Thanks for your kind wishes 🥰Its lovely here , enjoying short spells in the sun , we also went to a garden centre and got a beautiful Maple to plant in memory of my husband Mum .
Hope you’re enjoying the bank holiday as well and your weather is clear blue skies xxx😀😀😘😘
Thank you weathervane for your lovely message. Im so pleased you've managed to buy a Maple for Mother in law!. That will be a lovely way to remember her. Was she a keen gardener?. Its not like bank holiday here with blue skies and lovely sun!. Ha ha!. We're so not used to having them like this.
We've just taken a picnic to a local park that we like and been entertained by two little robins wanting our crumbs. Good having a change of scene. Just delightful but before Covid we wouldnt have noticed this or appreciated it!. 🌞
So glad you have the same weather too weathervane. Hope your taking advantage of it.
Best of luck when you see the consultant this week. I finally on fri get my front tooth veneer done. That will be such a boost!. 🌞
Hi Misty how adorable the puppies all are and what a fantastic job they will be doing when they are fully trained up to be police dogs 🐶 I’m so pleased that your foot is healing so well - enjoy the rest of the bank holiday 💕
Thank you so much svfarmer, so glad you liked the puppies. Its interesting how they will have such a different life being trained by the Police and the amazing work they will do. Do hope your all enjoying summer at last!. What a transformation!.
Adorable photo. These dogs are remarkable. The way they learn to sniff things out and help the police is amazing. Glad that your foot is healing so well. Xx
So pleased ge you liked it. How did friday go with your jab. I hope you've been ok afterwards. Must feel good to have first one done. Hope all your family are safe and well. Xx
Everything went well with my jab. Was worth waiting to get the Pfizer. Had an aching arm Friday night and yesterday but fine today. No other side effects. Felt that the set up was poorly organised though. My appointment was 5.30 but I was standing in a queue for more than an hour! Was not taken until around 6.40! My knees were killing me and, when I have to stand still, they shake too. Hope that the second dose isn’t like this. All my family are safe and well. Hope you and yours are too. Xx
Hi ge, glad you had the Pfizer jab ok and hardly any side effects. I agree though about it being poorly organised as you shouldnt have been standing all that time. I couldnt do it at all. I dont wonder your knees and legs were badly affected. That was awful ge. 🤞as you say its not like that when you go again. Im pleased your all safe and well as we are here!. Take care. Xx🐶❤🐶
Thank you tea and toast, for your lovely wishes. glad you liked the pic. Im thrilled at my healing as it feels good to exceed expectations rather than doing it the hardest way. I wanted you all to know it is possible despite being on these difficult DMARDS. Gives us heart. I do hope you are keeping as well as possible and enjoying the better weather. Xx🌻❤🌻
Hi Misty, Cocker Spaniels are amazing, by far my favourite dog breed but I am biased. How wonderful that they will use their gorgeous noses to help the police. I am delighted that you are healing well lovely xxx
Im so pleased cecily, well done. 🤞, your soon there. Awful what happened to you. Take care and keep safe with this lovely, summery weather. Xx🐶❤🐶❤🐶❤🐶❤🐶
Thank you stiff, glad you liked them. Hope you're enjoying bank hol too. Just had a picnic in a lovely park and been entertained by two robins wanting the crumbs!. Didnt think they could be as tame!. Its wonderful appreciating these things now. Hope your daughter's foot is healing and your as well as possible. Xx🐶❤🐶
That sounds lovely misty, great you’re having a good day, yes the robins are so tame aren’t they, we have an abundance of birds this year in garden , I’ve been sitting down under the trees In the garden watching them all at same time as chooks 😍😍 her foot is healing Thankyou just at a slow pace, but better slow than not at all 👍🙏Enjoy your evening 😘🤗x
Thats great news stiff about your daughter's healing. Oh definitely better slow than not at all. Im so glad your enjoying your birds under shady trees. Thats bliss in this sudden heat!. 🌞lovely you have a good variety of birds in your garden.
. I had no idea that robin's could be that tame which is why yesterday was such a delight. We have a faithful one that comes every year.
I do hope your feeling a little better too. Keep safe Xx❤🐶❤🐶❤🐶❤
Thanks misty, yes just concerning how much it still swells on use , it’s been a while now I expected the swelling to ease🤷♀️ They said the clicking was healing but her ankle clicks all the time🤷♀️Yes we are very lucky , it’s like having two gardens, the full sun in the garden then down past the tree line it’s lovely and cool all under canopy, so that’s where I head 🤣 I know many of the birds but there are a couple I need to look up, there was a tiny bird with bright yellow on its head🤷♀️ The 3 ducks are back out the front every day and they sit in the road not moving for the cars,🤣🤣 then they go to the river in the back garden later on.
Aren’t robins just one of the best 👍
Not bad Thankyou, I feel better than have but worse than should 🤷♀️
Glad you had a lovely day , you take care, and keep enjoying the weather and wildlife 👍🙌🏻Thankyou🙏 🤗x
Lovely hearing from you stiff. I think my foot stayed swollen for a while when it was healing. Important for your daughter to put her foot up whenever she sits down. Also to mention it at her next review as its still happening. She must be so fed up with it now.
It sounds like you live in a lovely rural spot with so much wildlife going on. Those ducks sound adorable and unusual birds your getting. Hope your chooks are ok. It sounds like such a haven stiff against the covid madness.
Glad your feeling better but still not right. Do you feel strong enough to go to a doctor yet?. Big step you've got to feel right about.
Last night our hedgehog 🦔came and he had his little legs in the water bowl getting wet whilst he ate the food. I missed such an adorable pic, he looked so cute!. Ill be ready with camera tonight and he wont come!. Ha!. 🌞👍
My toe itched a lot last night and thats a good sign of healing. Pain is better too and i can do more walking on it without too much pain. Its made such a difference!.
Keep enjoying the wildlife stiff, they're so helping us thru. Keep safe Xx🦔❤🦔
😀 yes misty shes fed up, I got her a swing all for the garden as she can’t move around much and gives her a bit of fun 🤷♀️I must admit we are lucky to live where we are and I can’t imagine getting through pandemic elsewhere so well 🙏
Not ready to face doc yet but have dermy next month and will go from there, I’m a bit fragile on the mental side at moment with what’s gone/going on and need to be in a place to control it. I have a busy month this month so that will help.
Ah misty how lovely, always the way isn’t it when no camera ready but hopefully hedgey will be back tonight 👍🙏
So very glad you’re foot is doing well, you waited so long and it’s great less pain walking for you 👍 yay 😀
You take care too and yes the animals are the best 😍👍🙌🏻 And peeps here 👍
Thank you so much lupieibbie. Its a big relief to me that it is!. I do hope your keeping as well as possible specially in this sudden heat. Musn't complain though!. Ha!. 🌞
As a Raynauds sufferer, I love the heat. Such a shame that nobody informed the other autoimmune gift that keeps on giving (ha ha) Lupus coz she hates the heat. As a gardener (very much my happy place) I try my hardest to ignore them both😜
Hope you continue to makes strides towards better health and more importantly, stay there for the longer term. All the best x
Thank you lupieibbie, for your lovely message. You just have summed up beautifully the conflict we can have with our bodies thanks to these illnesses. 😪Im glad you have gardening that allows you to escape it all as that is so important. Keep enjoying it.
What treatment are you on for lupus and Raynauds?. I hope its helping as much as possible.
My toe is healing fantastically now, to really make strides all i need now are injections for a leg nerve problem which im hopeful will be soon.
Keep on keeping on and keep safe. Xx
P.s. HU have got technical problems at the mo and i can't post any 'cutie pics'. But they're working on it so hopefully it will be back soon. X
Hi 👋 My lupus gets fed with a 6 monthly dose of Rituximab and of course a daily portion of Prednisolone (albeit, only 6mg). Of course, there's the handful of other assorted pills to offset the joy of long term steroid use 😜 I don't take anything for Raynauds - was a fanatical anti-pills person before lupus came along 8 years ago and put paid to that! So I try to limit, as much as I can, the amount of pharmaceutical rubbish I have to swallow.
Got a precious day off work, so off to my happy place - after slathering myself in factor 50 🏃♀️ After all, a day not spent in the garden is a day wasted 😎 Keep well and stay happy 😊
Hilupieibbie, hope you've enjoyed your happy place today. Your time off must be very precious!. It must have been a huge adjustment getting the lupus diagnosis and a shock!. Your feeding the wolf retuximab and pred at 6mg!. You've done well to get to that dose. Do you have to go lower?. Is the retuximab really helpful?.
Im on mtx and have just got to 5mg now after reducing for 3 years the very slow way, 0 5mg a month!. We spend our lives having to get as low as poss because of side effects!.
Our drugs easily snowball as you say, i want to take less and your right to limit as much as you can.
I don’t know how I missed this lovely post but I’m here now - tail end Charlie as usual. 🤫 What adorable pups and what heroes they will become when fully trained. 👍🏻 I’m so pleased to have seen them so thanks for posting Misty. SO good to hear your foot is healing in record time 👏🏻 and lovely to hear that it doesn’t have to be tough on those drugs. Very good to know! 👍🏻👍🏻 Hoping you continue to improve every day🙏🏻 Love and hugs 💖🤗😘xx
