Yesterday was better than today😇. Let’s see if I can make it to the weekend, I would love to wake up to a coffee smell and a nice walk with my dogs. Can’t wait. Busy times after Covid and at work we live like Covid does not exist or the world did/does not go through calamity. Painful to be part of. It’s all about showing green thick part of the online meetings and pretend all is OK. I hate it. I absolutely hate it. Sorry to hear your falls. x is there anything I can do? x

Oh bless you. It must be so hard for you trying to work through a pandemic with Lupus . I am fortunate ( or not) that I have not been able to work for the past twelve years Be kind to yourself and keep yourself as safe as possible. Thank you for your kindness re my falls, sadly my balance is poor and my reflexes are slow added to over tight tendons and bone on bone knees with one knee cap with a hairline crack and another that is loose on one side. I have a lifting cushion that is a real God send, before that I spent hours on the floor. I finally got an appointment with a physio and have been doing leg strengthening exercises lying down so I hope that my legs will get stronger and the falls less frequent. Xx

Thanks for asking sweetie. Really been struggling with covid booster jab. Not only do I have the weakness extreme fatigue and narcolepsy like effects but this time it caused muscle and bone pain too. Which has totally disrupted my life which was already very limited at best. I expect these symptoms to last at least 6-7 months like the first 2 jabs.

However as bad as it is I still have NO regrets as I always take the jabs because whatever reaction I might endure is worth NOT getting the disease they immunize against.

I owe so many replies but due to the ‘narcolepsy’ spells it’s like I’m unconscious and sometimes I’ve been out almost the whole day.

Can’t get anything done because of it.

I hope things are/will improve with your health problems hun.

Oh bless your heart. I am so very sorry that you are suffering so badly. I had no real side effects except slight flu type symptoms. I am due my booster at the end of the month and as it is a Phyzer not Astra Zeneca like I had with the first two I know lots of people have been ill with that. Look after yourself lovely, sleep is restorative. Big Cwtches and lots of love xxx

I respect that. Just couldn’t do it. HereOn the Gulf coast shrimp, oysters, redfish, much more seafood is an everyday part of our diet. I don’t fry mine. Broiled. Baked. Yummy.

I kill most snakes with a shovel or a .22.

I did let a very very very large copperhead live years ago. It was a work of art. His markings. Must have been 7 ft long. Old timer. Gotta show respect. 😀

I have never seen one in the flesh but excitingly someone posted on Facebook that there is a herd just a mile from me up by the reservoir so when I feel better I will get Neil to take me. My laryngitis has gone to my chest so now stronger antibiotics, 40 mg steroid and nebulisers..deep joy and I have just ordered a PCR kit on GP’s advice. We have the plumber coming to remove part of our living room ceiling to find the origins of the leak. It’s all deep joy here so I will look at beautiful hairy coos and block it all out lol xxx

Thank you, I think the antibiotics and steroids are loosening it. I had to have 5 nebulisers the day before yesterday, two yesterday . I cannot sleep, cannot lie down so on the nebuliser 4 am this morning. They always make me feel physically agitated in the higher doses xxx

Been referred for an x-ray but in these times I need to wait for an appointment and there is a long waiting list. Prior to Covid it was a walk in clinic. Xx🐄 🐮

I am pleased you like him Kat. I am so sick of myself, I seem to lurch from one thing to another at the moment. Today I really am poorly, I cannot lie down and despite three nebulisers today plus my three inhalers two lots of antibiotics and 40 mg of steroid I am wheezing like an old goat every time I move. I sound as if I am on helium but at least better than the past few days where I had no voice at all.Miserable miserable lol How are you Kat? Dare I ask any update on the car xxx

I'm ok generally although a cock up at the pharmacy..due to giving me wrong strength pred..I've decided to bite the bullet n go for another reduction. I'm on day four now n I'm feeling ok..the last drop was horrendous so I've been reluctant to drop again..but here I am on 5mgs per day..which was the plan in 2019!! Dare I day I've made it? Probably shouldn't..but hey..I'm hopeful!! 😹

I got in touch with car guy n he's optimistic that I'll have a late Xmas present..dunno what that means really..car guys are like doctors ain't they? Bit vague!! 😹

I'm hopeful though that Betty Blue (that's my name for her) is coming through. I have a little mantra you see...clutching my faith spoon I say Betty Blue..I see you..come to me..I'll take care of you!! Yes I'm nuts but I don't care!!! 😹😹🌈😽😽Xx
