Hi all my health issues are getting me down, I’ve been suffering with joint pain and rashes for 10 year since my mum pasted away. I’ve had a few ops for inflamed synovial tissue in my knee and both great toes fused also had to have a disc fused in my neck. I’ve reacentle started with headache can’t stand brightness my eyes water like mad. I’ve also have blephrightus I had a lupus test that came back as lupus anticoagulant detected. But the GP says it doesn’t mean I have lupus. I’ve been told I have fibromyalgia. I’m fed up of feeling ill

There is more information regarding Lupus Anticoagulant, which is one of the tests for Hughes Syndrome/APS/"sticky blood", on the following sites.

Hi Babyida,

Welcome to the LUPUS UK HealthUnlocked Community. I am sorry to hear that you have been suffering from such symptoms for a long time. There are several triggers of lupus such as UV exposure, virus, hormonal changes, stress and trauma. Some people believe their lupus was triggered by a stressful event, although it is not possible to know for sure.

Are you taking any medication for your symptoms? It is common for people to be diagnosed with ‘fibromyalgia’ in early stages of lupus. The FMA UK website provides information on fibromyalgia and its symptoms as well as useful links for local support networks, advice and over-lapping conditions which I hope will give you some clarity. fmauk.org/

Below, I have included some information links which you may find useful:
