Horrible mouth ulcers from methotrexate

Hi, had my third injection of methotrexate this week. I have really painful mouth ulcers, does anyone know any remedies that work? Does this side effect wear off eventually? On a good note think it could be helping with lupus symptoms though

Hi I had really bad mouth ulcers over Christmas last year, I couldn't eat for a week, managed to get appointment with my gp and he prescribed a steroid mouth wash after two rinses it felt better and was completely gone after the 3rd day, it's called beta methasone tablets you dissolve and gargle with x I hope you're feeling better soon xx

I just take zinc tablets from the chemist and corsodyl mouthwash. It doesn't taste very nice,but when has anything that is good for you taste nice. But it does work xxx
