Gluten free Vegan Borlotti bean burgers.

β€’14 Replies

Hi everyone,

Tonight I made these borlotti bean burgers with a tin of organic borlotti beans some gram flour (chickpea flour) diced onion garlic black pepper and a little water to make a thick batter I shaped them on a board dusted with gram flour and baked with some new baby organic potatoes and had some of my favourite froezen veg with it.

Gram flour is a great binder so a great alternative for coeliac and vegans. The gravy I made with the stock from the veg a little gram flour mixed with a little cold water low salt boulion and yeast extract.

These burgers use very few ingredients and I just whizzed them up in my food processor so very easy plus they have a nice texture I don't go in for these fake meats so much prefer simple honest food.

Enjoy your Sunday evening now folks. 😊

Thanks again Debs, I don't par boil baby potatoes before roasting so its really easy just wash and put them in the oven. 😊
