After Hidden posted about red meat I thought I'd have a vegetable curry and keep it plant based. I cooked dark red rice and wild brown rice together.
For the curry I used onions garlic chilli black beans tomatoes red lentils yellow split peas garden peas chestnut mushrooms with curry spices. I had some slices of cucumber with it.
Black beans are very healthy as they are high in protein and have many benefits including lowering blood pressure helping manage diabetes and aid digestion so here's a link:
Thanks Hidden , I'm sorry that you suffer blood clotting as it must be difficult avoiding vitamin K it all sounds under control so good luck with this. π
I shall look forward to reading that article about beans, and in the meantime I have been admiring this delicious meal. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I love the way you've been combining the rice as well - I've been doing a similar thing - and it's been very tasty.
Hope you're enjoying the weekend so far. I am just finishing off a few chores just now, and then I'm going to chill out - as I like Grannysqua 's post about doing just that!
Zest
