Healthy eating and exercise a walk to the lake... 😊

Hi everyone,

As well as eating well its important to have enough exercise and here's where I went for a walk this afternoon. It's a fishing lake in the forest owned by the forestry commission and there were quite a few birds that are keen on fish here including some greylag geese which are the largest geese in the UK.

My average heart rate was 85 bpm ranging from 65 - 121 it was 4.6 miles and I took 9200 steps it was a lovely afternoon for a walk especially somewhere as nice as this, making a very healthy way to spend a couple of hours on a sunny afternoon.

My BMI is 20.2 and as it was in the 19's most of last year I'm very pleased with this. 😊

What a lovely view - a gorgeous lake - and Congratulations on your step count, and stats - it is great to hear your BMI has improved and you're feeling good! I agree that having enough exercise is such a healthy thing, and the benefits of communing with Nature are vast.

Thank you Zest, I don't compare with your steps but that doesn't matter as its what works for us. Its also good for the mind and soul being out amongst nature in the fresh air. 😊
