Where I live the health care for mental distress/illness is closing down. It is too terrible. Hospitals are closing psychiatric services to save money. It is so difficult to find a therapist. And when you are able to, the cost is exorbitant. It is sickening. I am enormously fortunate to have had the doctors and therapists that I have needed during my most difficult years. “What now?”… for so so many. I am tremendously thankful for this group. Please, let’s keep doing what we can to support each other. How valuable it is to have others to share with.

I'm so sorry this is happening. I don't understand how our country can think this is the right thing to do. We have so many horrific things happening and they do come down to mental health.
I agree, this group is a savior but it doesn't replace the professional help we all need

CarnelianAmber,
It is so very sad that the services are closing when they are needed the most... it's heartbreaking.
I am very thankful for this group and the support of others that listen and know what it's like.
