My own twin sister is an abusive bully towards me. She said, "People don't care whether or not you're telling the truth. Most people just don't like you. In that case, truth doesn't matter."

I'm really sorry that you have been feeling bullied by your twin sister and I'm really sorry also that your sister has been bullying you. Two sides of the coin that I feel are important to acknowledge.

One is that you are feeling incredible emotional pain and perhaps immense distress from this. The second, is that your twin has indeed breached such an important relationship by causing you hurt.I am sorry that this is happening. Her words sound callous and unkind, thoughtless...

You are obviously a much stronger person in terms of character, having not just born this unacceptable behaviour with grace, but also in terms of being able to remain kind and contemplative of what is just and not, as you try to achieve a resolution.

I wish you well and blessings.

My experience of twins, from my own step-father and his twin brother's relationship, is that it can be so incredible fickle. At times, fierce as lions when it comes to loyalty. But at other times, so incredible disparaging and critical. As time goes on, they both appear to need each other's unrivalled companionship - and I'm relieved to see there is resolution within their relationship as they face the latter stages of their lives.

Stay strong - be true to your self. Being a twin must, no doubt, be unique and challenging. There are lessons to be learnt from each side. I hope that your sister comes to learn her side of the story in good time :) xxx
