I recently got interested in family systems; how many there are, what a healthy one looks like, and different variations of unhealthy ones, i.e. one parent was narcissistic, the other was codependant, and how that will affect the child growing up in that household. Basically how family dynamics play out in a family with abuse taking place and what "roles" everyone has there. I found a great YouTube channel about this from someone named Patrick Teahan . I wanted to know if anyone here has any book suggestions, preferably not about one specific family type, but about family systems/types in general?

I can't find any free resources that are useful, IBelieveICanFly.
There is a Wikipedia page about family systems therapy but it is very complicated.
I had a look at Patrick Teahan and his website and it looks like you need to pay to get resources.
There are other websites, each mentioning making purchases so there isn't much free information out there.
