Colours in nature.

David Attenborough was talking about the way nature uses colour to hide from enemies, find a mate or repair damage due to global warming.

They have discovered that the warming of tropical oceans causes coral the bleach and then die but the coral is now fighting back and using bright neon colours as a kind of sun screen.

The beautiful colourful snails are trying to confuse the birds which eat them by being such a variety of colours that the birds are not sure if they are safe to eat and sometimes decide to give them a miss.

I just find the colours in nature so beautiful and amazing that they lift my spirits. I hope they do the same for you.

Hi Shy_Guy.Thanks so much for replying, I really appreciate it. These are actually photos I took from the television, I do this when I see a nature programme with images which are amazing I want to be able to look at them again and again but not watch the whole programme again.

Some of your photos from your yard are just as good.

Kim.
